Since I’m actually decently close to being done with that little “Meet the Artist” thing, i wanted to make this to clear something up that I’ve never elaborated on.
This is probably kinda random but I felt I needed to mention it since I haven’t really yet and I feel it may be a bit confusing if I don’t address this fact.

So, this channel’s username is JewelThePuppeteer/PuppeteerJewel. It’s been like that for literal years now and I do really like this username I’ve chosen. However, because I’ve had my username be this, people have tended to refer to me as “Jewel.”
And like, in the past, I would say that would be accurate. Jewel *was* my online name and the only name I preferred to use while online, now I would say that’s not the case anymore.

In my channel’s bio description, it currently lists that I would prefer to be called “Shoe.” I think maybe back in 2023 it said to refer to me by “Shuichi/Jewel” and then it was changed to “Shuichi/Shu,” but right now it is currently “Shoe.”
See here’s the thing, when I first changed my username to something Jewel-related (back in 2021 it was JewelDoesntExist), this was because my main ‘sona’ was called that, and by the second image on here you can see some old photos of them. I had used this character to represent myself online, however what occurred was that I just eventually separated myself from Jewel entirely. Jewel ultimately is just my oc, and with me adding more and more lore into them, the similarities between me and them became only further apart. To an extent, Jewel is still based on me and there’s enough sentimental value for me to have kept them as my oc for five years now, but that’s just the thing, Jewel hasn’t been my sona or what I use to represent “me” for a while now.

And now we get back to “Shoe.” I’ve gone through many “irl sonas” that you can probably find the more you scroll back on my channel, but sometime in 2024 I decided to create this little guy. Shoe is definitely not 100% how I look like in real life, however he is based more heavily on me than Jewel ever was, and like while he is very stylized, his hair and outfit are based on a hairstyle and outfit I’ve worn that Ive really come to like. Yeah he’s not exactly like me, but that’s the fun of a persona, you can make it any way you like as long as you connect with it, and Shoe most certainly does. It’s why Shoe’s the pfp of this channel (which I should change as my art style is definitely much different now-)

Speaking of which, why the name “Shoe” exactly? Well, while I’ve always officially have used “Jewel” due to it being my channel username, I also tended to say I also wouldn’t mind the name “Shuichi” maybe back in 2022 or so. Why Shuichi?? Uhm, because of Shuichi Saihara from Danganronpa— cause he’s been a character who’s meant a little bit too much to me as a person and I just wanted to use that name. I’ve had someone refer to me as “Shu” because of it, and I decided I also really liked that nickname as well. Overtime, I sort of grew to really like that name, especially when I was exploring my gender identity and just wanted something more masculine or gender-neutral sounding.
Cuz, while names shouldn’t have gender and the oc that my username of “Jewel” refers to is an agender any/all gender non-conforming person, I do feel like Jewel is kinda too “feminine” and it just doesn’t fit who I am.

In like 2024 or 2025, I kinda rethought it and I wasn’t sure about the name. I’m not Japanese so I thought it was kinda weird to use a name from a culture I’m ultimately not a part of, and as much as I love Shuichi Saihara, I do want a name that isn’t so connected with a fandom, so I kinda settled on something similar sounding but different enough, and that’s how I got “Shoe.” Kinda based on the “Shoe Itchy” Danganronpa meme from like such a long time ago, and yeah the name’s pretty dumb, and yet I kinda got attached to it for some reason. It’s kinda silly and weird and it just seems to fit to me perfectly, so I basically want to use it as my online name.

Here’s the thing, on like most of my other social medias which you can find in my bio, my username does reflect the “Shoe” part that I want, however on here it’s still the same. I feel like when I inevitably make that proper return video is when I’ll be able to change my username to something like ShoesSqueaky or something. It’s just that JewelThePuppeteer is quite special to me, and it’ll be difficult to change.
But yeah, this post is just to establish the difference between me (Shoe) and my oc (Jewel) despite the latter being the name of this channel.

For a treat in the pictures provided, you can get some of my art. Some old, some new, some…gacha, but yeah there it all is. There is significantly more Shoe because for a school art project I had to draw them a lot and I didn’t realize that I draw Jewel a lot less than I thought I did-
So yeah, there’s all that.

Hey so I went to go see the TADC finale, and *drumroll* I really liked it so I wanted to share some thoughts (THIS WILL BE SPOILER FREE AS MANY PEOPLE HAVEN’T SEEN IT)

It’s been a whole lot recently, a lot of stress has occurred for me due to the whole leak situation, so much so that I had to completely detach myself from the TADC fandom for the past two weeks, a decision I’m glad I did because oh man have people been kinda ruthless.
I surprisingly didn’t actually get spoiled, though I definitely thought I did going in (Ive seen some vague things) only to get surprised, actually.

Okay, so how was it?
Honestly, I got really emotional a lot. Like I actually ended up tearing up at one point, it just had a lot of things that would personally probably affect me definitely. I had so much fun with it, the animation is absolutely beautiful, there were things that kinda meant a lot for me personally. My heart was racing all throughout the film in excitement and fear and everything. There was one particular part I kinda got confused on for a while but that probably was my fault kinda— and I eventually realized it much later.
Theater experience was pretty great too. For the most part the people knew when to stay silent and when to scream at the right moments, and being in that theater and everyone clapping once those credits rolled around was really special.

I’ve taken some time to look at what people during when the leaks arrived had to say, and again, here’s where I mention that people have been ruthless. This was not a perfect piece of media, it’s definitely not an ending that will satisfy everyone, and there are things I do really agree with when it comes to the episode as both an episode and a finale, given its fair share of problems. But then there are things I’ve seen that I really don’t agree with, or things that I didn’t find to be too much of a problem when I was watching. I know I’m definitely pretty easy to please and I always have low standards so sometimes it could just be me. It’s fine to critique it or even criticize/hate it, but some people have just been so mean about it to both others as well as Gooseworx or the entirety of indie animation as a whole and I just can’t really engage with that. But that’s fine.

Perhaps when the dust settles a bit and I take things in things may change, but generally there was a lot to like about this one, and I won’t forget that feeling I had while being in that theater, ready to experience all of that for the first time and the joy that came out of it. I've been a TADC fan ever since the Character Teaser came out even before the pilot, and seeing it develop and shape into what is it now got me really sentimental.
Idk I had a lot to say 😭 maybe that meet the artist thing comes soon I also had my last school day today as well so maybe I’ll lock in

Second photo is the cardboard cutout thing cuz it looked cool idk. And the third is a TADC bracelet I was given at the theater by a cosplayer who was handing them out to other cosplayers, that was really cool.

Man I know I post every once in a blue moon but come on I’m working on stuff trust 😭😭😭 just been busy with school stuff and art stuff that’s made it difficult all year but stuff will happen man 🙏🙏🙏

But y’all, just finished watching the FNaF 2 movie and man, that was so amazingly incredible.
While I’m definitely not as FNaF obsessed as I was back when I made videos on this channel, FNaF has still been a main time obsession to me and has always been present within my head so this movie kinda hit.
I rewatched the original movie right beforehand because I needed to show the friends I was going with the first movie so they could get it but like, the sequel definitely amped everything up. Like the animatronics were so cool, there were more horror based elements, there were so many references and cool ideas present, and more fun action the first movie seems kinda more boring now 😭 (still love it though)

This movie was truly wonderful and such a fun time :,) while not totally a perfect movie I can definitely point out some general flaws as a story and as a piece of FNaF media, the FNaF fan inside of me still actively screamed and pointed out stuff and just was so overjoyed.

Oh and two years ago for the first FNaF movie I cosplayed the puppet but this time I didn’t have enough time to pull together another proper cosplay because an art project I have is kinda due pretty soon and I didn’t have enough time so I created a security guard outfit out of the Hot Topic Security shirt and the FNaF badge and I gave it accessories cuz one of my friends who I didn’t see it with also dressed up in a similar way so I wanted to try and match :)
Shame I forgot my Toy Bonnie plush this time 🥀 would’ve fit super well

Also during the peak credits my friend turned to me and said “you know what these credits should really need” and she pulled out her phone and turned on my gacha fnaf singing battle and 😭😭😭😭 dudeeeeeeee

Alright y’all,
So, back like a year or two ago, I mentioned how me and my friend were like making a little DRV3 fanfic AU thing, and I kinda stopped writing it for a while because I got into stuff that captivated my interest more (cough cough my ocs) but, I was looking back at it and I decided that the first few sections of it were pretty good, so I finally decided to just let it happen and post it on both Wattpad and a03.
If you have an account on there and want to read this story, by all means feel free to do so! You don’t have to if you don’t want to either, that’s fine as well. Just wanted to let you all know about this since I love it a lot.

AND YES EVENTUALLY I WILL RETURN TO YOUTUBE 💔💔 GIVE ME TIME AND MOTIVATION AND ILL DO SOMETHING

hey guys I don’t know if you know this but I really like fnaf

Jokes aside,
Just wanted to do a look on my fnaf book collection cause why not since I’m like one of the few people in this fandom who really likes the books.
I enjoy collecting every book in a series I like so of course I gotta get them all.
I think I’m missing a few books in my collection- like I don’t have Fazbear Frights 12 since it only came out with a collection of the rest of them and not individually. I don’t have graphic novel 5 of the Fazbear Frights books, and like I’m pretty sure they might’ve updated The Ultimate Guide again into a new book to include Security Breach and Ruin— so maybe I’ll have to venture to find those as well.

Now if we’re talking games, I do own like most of them, actually.
I have FNaF 1-4, Sister Location, and Security Breach on my Nintendo Switch, and FNaF Pizzeria Simulator and Five Laps At Freddy’s on my computer. A family member of mine has a VR headset and gave me access to FNAF Help Wanted on it, so I’ve played that as well.
Now I absolutely am ass at video games so I’ve never actually gotten past night 3 in any of these games so lol
The only fnaf games I don’t have are FNAF World, UCN (which I should get cuz it’s free), Ruin, Special Delivery (I think it closed down idk), Fnaf Help Wanted 2, and Into The Pit.
Plus all those random troll games like Freddy In Space or the preview for Security Breach.

Yeah my fnaf phase has never left me ever. In 2024 I thought it did but instead it came back stronger so damn
