My pottery journey is going well.
Haven't mastered the wheel fully yet, but I'm getting there.

This plate took me less than 10 minutes to make, while just a few days ago, it took me 2 hours to make a simple cup. I reckon that's good progress.

New video coming next weekend. So while we wait, I'm sharing my latest one again :)

Curious fact about this vlog: I had over 1h of footage available but I try to never go over 10 minutes, 15 tops. It's all about storytelling, I'd say, and sometimes (most) footage just doesn't click with the whole video that's being put together.

This week has been chaotic while planning for an upcoming work/leisure trip and trying to solve a water leak on one of my windows... uff.

So I hope this playlist provides some comfort and peace for you on these cold days - as it did for me while I warmed up over a cup of hot chocolate 🍫

🇬🇧 Today, I want to send out a word of compassion to all of you who follow me from the UK, and all over the world, who are mourning the loss of Queen Elizabeth II.

I am not from the UK, and monarchy hasn't existed in Portugal since 1910.
But I can safely say that to many like me, Queen Elizabeth wasn't just the Queen of the United Kingdom—she was "the" Queen.
I grew up watching her as a source of strength of character, pose, courage, wisdom, kindness, and wit, even. Regardless of personal political opinions, this will forever stand true.

I think the reason why the world feels her death deeply is not just because this marks the end of an era—it's because this marks the breaking away from a present that we've always known. Like breaking away from comfort. And that's always a difficult thing.

May her soul rest in peace,

🇬🇧 There is a reason why I haven't shown you my renovated kitchen, in full, after 5 months of living in my new apartment.

It's lovely and bright and colourful.
But the urge to paint some of my cabinets black has taken over me 👀 and it hasn't vanished. I know, I'm nuts.

I'm currently testing this idea.

🇵🇹 Existe uma razão porque ainda não vos mostrei a minha cozinha renovada, por inteiro, mesmo após 5 meses nesta casa.

Ela é linda e cheia de luz e cor.
Mas a vontade de pintar parte dos meus armários de preto tomou conta de mim 👀 e não se vai embora. Sou doida, eu sei.

Estou atualmente a testar esta ideia.
