Most people quit because they think writing is supposed to feel clear, confident, or inspired from day one. It’s not. Writing is a skill, and skills only grow through repetition, not waiting for motivation to show up.

Every good writer you admire — whether they write books, films, or Indian television shows — started with messy drafts, unclear ideas, and work they’d never post today. Screenwriting for films or TV isn’t about brilliance on the first try either. It’s about showing up, writing badly, rewriting, and doing it again.

If you’re a young writer in India trying to figure out novels, screenplays, OTT, or TV writing, this is your reminder: progress doesn’t come from thinking more. It comes from writing more.

(3/3) In 2023, I found balance. Freelancing allowed me the freedom to travel, to live and create on my own terms. I rediscovered the joy of writing books and comics—stories I was passionate about, not just what was expected.

Now, in 2025, I’m working on projects that excite me every day. I’m not just a writer. I’m a storyteller—creating on my own terms, with passion and purpose.

To every writer or creator out there: keep going. It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it. You’re becoming something amazing. Trust the journey.

(1/3) 10 years ago, I was just a college student with no idea that writing would shape my life. I started small on Wattpad, writing stories simply because I loved it. By 19, my books were being read by millions, and I was getting paid to write. It felt surreal, but it was real.

At 20, I moved to a new city for my master’s, and my book was being turned into a comic. That was my dream come true. But there were still doubts. Was this just a phase, or could I build a career out of my passion?
