Good and Basic is one of the most eclectic channels you're likely to find on YouTube. Our bread and butter are project videos where we explore primitive technology, ancient crafts, and creatively basic solutions to fundamental problems, and philosophical videos where we break down key principles in ethics, history, and economics. But the real key is in the crossover between the two.
We're interested in the appropriate technology movement, cottage industrialism, the history of the industrial revolution, the history of technological progress (and its influence on daily life), old ways of living, small solutions, sustainability, gardening, and much much more.
