As a long-time gamer with roots stretching back to the 80's and a dedicated furry, my gaming loyalties have oscillated over the years. I fondly remember the days of the Xbox 360, the last Xbox console that truly captivated me. Following that, I was quite content with my PlayStation 4, not feeling an immediate need to embrace the PlayStation 5 when it first came out.
But now that I've finally upgraded, I've fallen in love with the PS5. One particular feature that tickles my furry tail is the PlayStation trophy clip recording. Somehow, it mutes the in-game audio and instead picks up sound from the controller's mic. I've fiddled around with the settings to rectify this and eagerly await my next trophy to see if it's been fixed.
The PS5's catalog is impressive, but I can't help but wish for more top-tier PS1 games on the PlayStation Network. Playing Resident Evil 1 again transported me back to my childhood, when I first experienced it on the PS1 at 13. It remains one of my all-time favorite games.
The PS5's controller is a game-changer. Unlike its predecessors, which I found lacking, the PS5 controller fits perfectly in my paws and comes with an array of nifty mechanics.
I've proudly owned every PlayStation console to date, although my PS3 recently gave up the ghost. I'll need to replace it soon. Despite my initial love for the Xbox, when it first came out, and my adoration for the Xbox 360, PlayStation has always managed to claw its way back into my heart. This is probably because my roots with PlayStation stretch back to the launch of the PS1, which I was a huge fan of. The PS2 did come with its share of bugs and synchronization issues in games like GTA and Alone in the Dark, which left me somewhat cold. But the PS1's nostalgia and the PS5's innovation make PlayStation my preferred gaming platform.

Absolutely baffled as to why Adobe Premiere Pro doesn't support WebM format even now in 2023. It's like we're stuck in 1998! Even when I use a plugin to incorporate WebM, the process is painfully slow and it becomes a major headache. I find it perplexing that Adobe, being a leading video editing software and not to mention the hefty price we pay for it, wouldn't provide support for some codecs.
In frustration, I had to resort to using CyberLink PowerDirector 20 Ultra to edit those files, which itself was an ordeal. But, despite these issues, I must admit, Adobe has its strengths. For instance, the rendering speed is quite impressive - it handles an hour-long video in approximately 15 minutes. In comparison, CyberLink PowerDirector 20 Ultra maintains a 1:1 ratio, even for WebM files, and that's with splitting the editing load between the GPU and CPU to boost the processing speed.
Despite my gripes, as a hardcore furry gamer who's been in the gaming world since the '80s, I value powerful, efficient software, and I know that it's not all black and white. Adobe has its strengths and drawbacks, just like any other software. #AdobePremiere #VideoEditing #WebMSupport #FurryGamerLife #GamingSince80s #AdobeVSWebM.

Initially, I was hesitant to play the Resident Evil 2 Remake. However, I eventually decided to give it a try, and regrettably, my fears were confirmed. The game, in my perspective, fell short of capturing the spirit of the original.
Having invested countless hours in the original Resident Evil 2 to the point where I could almost navigate it in my sleep, this game runs deep in my veins. Playing the remake felt like a slow-acting poison, eroding the love and nostalgia I had held for the original.
In my opinion, Capcom made a significant misstep with this remake. If you appreciate the Resident Evil 2 remake, I fear that it is this sort of acceptance that is leading to the decline in quality of modern games. As someone who has been gaming since the late '80s and early '90s, I've witnessed the evolution of the industry, and this reminds me of the type of issues that nearly brought the console industry to its knees back in 1983.
Regrettably, the same issues seem to have extended to the Resident Evil 3 remake. I've heard rumors that the Resident Evil 4 remake might be an improvement, but after these experiences, I've lost all hope. It feels as if Capcom is inadvertently undermining its own franchise.
Looking at the latest entries in the series, Resident Evil 7 and 8, I find it baffling that these games are praised. In my view, they lack the charm and essence that made the earlier entries so iconic. I'm disappointed to see such beloved titles being modified in a way that, in my eyes, dilutes their original appeal.

One aspect I absolutely adore about Resident Evil 6 is the consistent action. There's always something happening – no tedious wandering around, no overly complex puzzles, just a constant stream of action-packed horror to keep you on the edge of your seat.
However, there's one feature that detracts from the experience: Quick Time Events (QTEs). I can't fathom why they thought this was a good addition. Too many games have adopted this mechanic, and it often feels more frustrating than immersive. It reminds me of Clive Barker's Jericho on Xbox 360, which was similarly filled with QTEs.
Despite this drawback, I firmly believe Resident Evil 6 is one of the stronger titles in the series, particularly when compared to the original Resident Evil 2. The split-story format allows for different perspectives on the lore based on the character you choose, which greatly enhances replayability. Each playthrough is a fresh experience, lending the game an enduring appeal.

As a hardcore furry gamer who has been playing games since the 80s, I have always tried to see the good in every game, but I've been struggling with Cyberpunk 2077. Every time I play, I see its unrealized potential and the glaring issues that mar the experience, even years after its release and multiple patches.
When it launched, it was plagued with bugs. While many have been fixed, it hasn't remedied the inherent issues with the game mechanics. The game attempted to introduce interesting features like crafting, weapon mastery, hacking, and a vast open world with countless side missions and a decent lore. It aimed to be a massive FPSRPG, but unfortunately, it fell short.
The crafting system, for instance, felt underwhelming. The only real reason to level it up is to see what endgame items you could create. The game didn't provide compelling incentives to excel in crafting. Most missions could be completed without leveling up any particular skill, and only a handful of missions required specific abilities. The game could've taken a more RPG approach, making each playthrough more replayable by requiring high-level skills to complete certain missions.
The graphics were impressive, suggesting a considerable portion of the development time went into it. However, the missions varied in quality - some were good, some okay, and others left you wondering why they were included in the first place.
The lore was decent: you steal a chip, plant it in your head, get shot, the chip fixes you, and then you're in a race against time to remove it before its engram takes over your brain. But the execution was convoluted with two separate intros based on your backstory and your introduction to Jackie. I can't recall any other game with two distinct introductions, and it felt unnecessary.
The weapons system was also confusing. Why should a common (white/grey) weapon deal more damage than a legendary (orange) one? Unless you're dedicated to leveling up crafting – which again feels pointless unless maxed out – you're likely to choose weapons based on DPS, except for sniper rifles where high damage is crucial.
Cyberpunk 2077 has so many issues beyond the bugs that it's challenging to cover all of them. Despite completing the game five times, my perspective hasn't changed. It's baffling that others fail to see these glaring problems.
