According to an internal memo seen by Reuters, Wipro will not be increasing salaries for "top performers with higher compensation" in the next round of adjustments to be made in December.
Wipro officials were also cited by Reuters as informing staff members via email that they are conducting a "selective MSI (Merit salary increases) rollout" this time around depending on their "business affordability."
Furthermore, the corporation implemented a hybrid work arrangement and had earlier called staff back to the office. This implies that Wipro staff members must report to work for a minimum of three days every week. An email was used to announce this rule as well. The policy is going to be in force as of November 15, 2023.
The shift to a hybrid work style, according to Wipro's Chief Human Resources Officer, Saurabh Govil, is intended to boost the company's corporate culture, encourage in-person cooperation, and enable more efficient communication.
According to Money control, the email said, "Starting November 15, all employees must be present at their assigned office location for at least three days each week."
Additionally, Wipro issued a warning to its staff members, stating that they would face repercussions beginning on January 7, 2024, if they disobeyed the new work regulation.
