Want to give back while kickin' back with some cocoa or hot apple cider? TOMORROW NIGHT (Dec 22nd) at 8 PM EST here on Youtube, I'll be doing a cosy livestream concert with a nicely upgraded setup. We'll be raising funds for 'Blue Ridge Pride', supporting the queer community devastated by hurricane Helene earlier this year when it swept through Asheville NC. Sage Christie, a friend of mine, was one of the people affected, and a great artist who, along with others, have some special songs & messages also appearing throughout the event.

I'd love to have you join us for the stream as it happens, my last show for the year, and a cosy way to take in the season and give back.

Hello friends, I have an important message I hope you'll read as a minute of your time could make a huge difference to the arts in Canada for years to come. One thing you may not know about me is that I co-founded a professional studio called Silverthorn Studios - it's where most of my music has happened over the years, and so many unforgettable memories.

Due to a decision by our landlords to sell the home we have been renting, my business partner & I need to vacate our recording studio we built in the structure behind it. In order to preserve our professional studio space, we are looking to present the landlords with a buyer (and potentially renters) interested in both the house & the studio together. Otherwise, the studio risks demolition, further damaging Toronto's arts community, and resulting in us being unable to sell the business & structure we worked hard to create & maintain since 2014.

We've found peace with whatever the outcome is - HOWEVER, we are also going to play full out to find someone who will preserve & buy the business as quickly as possible. We will likely only have a month or two to do so. The landlords have agreed to work with a realtor we connected them with who recently sold Toronto's famed Number 9 Studios in conjunction with the apartment above it.

The arts simply must survive & thrive in Toronto for this to be a city worth living in. Our gorgeous space, which has brought joy to countless emerging & established creative people, deserves to survive and provide immeasurable value for years to come. There are people out there looking to profit from & maintain creative spaces like ours and now it's our job to find them!

Studio purchase includes the space, select assets, contact list, business transition assistance and more. Requires purchase of the house as well - An investor may also be interested in a renter (or group thereof) to rent out the space.
