Okay in seriousness 😂

I did finish Resistance and Half-Blood by Jaye L. Knight and I have to say.

I have never consumed a piece of media quite as good as those books.

I know I have a whole series ahead of me.

But dang.


SPOILERS AHEAD!





I never expected my favorite book series to have the main plot of persecuting Christians. Never in a thousand years.

I have never just rooted for characters to become Christians.

I have never read such a deeply Christian book.

But not only that, the writing style is so beautiful and wonderful and I could feel what Kyrin (the main girl character) is feeling.

I could feel the dread as she knew she would be killed for her belief. I could feel the strength that welled up in her when God was there.

I could feel the pain in Jace when he believes he is not loved.

But I could feel the success of breaking through to him.


This is better than Wingfeather, LOTR, Green Ember, and all of the above. Thank you ‪@ChloeRobinson-18‬ for having me read this. It had been truly wonderful 🥹💙💙
