I’m OmoIgbo and I make videos about my experiences being a black nonbeliever (atheist agnostic) who grew up in a super religious Nigerian family. I made this channel because I needed a way to find others like me, to make genuine connections, and to encourage new or closeted nonbelievers to share their stories, questions and thoughts. So I’ll drop content every couple of weeks with my take on secular topics. My goal is to bring a new perspective to the non believing community. Thoughts? I saw this on Twitter today and I'm genuinely interested in hearing what people who identify as "nonbelievers" think. I think maybe the original tweet came from someone who does hold some kind of faith but not traditional Christianity.

Hi people! As I talk to more nonbelievers, specifically those that deconverted, I'm noticing some common themes in their stories. I started wondering if there were certain life experiences that increase the chances a person will leave religion. What do you think? What experiences contributed to your deconversion or non belief?

Hi! Check out this comment a believer left on an atheist's video... My next video will be out THIS WEEKEND! What kind of comments do you see towards atheists by believers on youtube? I've looked at 80ish comments by believers towards nonbelievers on youtube and put those comments into very lofty genres. Excited to share those genres and more of these comments. This comment's genre is "End times/fire and brimstone God"... we'll see how this goes. Don't forget to subscribe if you'd like to tune in to that 😊.

Hi! 1k subs!!! We've unlocked the community post feature! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me on my YouTube journey. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I first started. All I knew was that I needed to get my thoughts out there to someone, anyone, who'd understand. And here we are. I've mentioned that this channel has given me a way to process and learn more about this part of my life and I appreciate it. The nonbelieving community gets a bad rap. You all are thoughtful, kind, and inspirational.
I still haven't figured out how to get a video out every week...but we will get there. Please stay tuned because I've got some fun ones planned (once I fix my editing laptop =)). Thanks again and I hope to continue to hear from you.
