With my old lady and I welcoming our first child a few weeks ago and now that she's home from hospital my railfan outings will be scarce for the next few months or so. Should still have an upload here and there of stuff I catch while going to and from or while at work or while out running errands. Had a decent 2024 railfanning wise. Accomplishments are I caught the triple crown 3 times before it's retirement, visited the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum, chased the CP 2816 from Chillicothe to Kansas City in western Missouri, chased UP 4014 on the DeSoto sub south of St. Louis, visited the CSX Indiana subdivision twice and got some good CPL pics, plus caught trains in random small towns across Indiana, Illinois and Missouri I haven't gotten shots at before. Might resume doing a best catches of the year video or two. Looking forward to what 2025 has to come. Merry Christmas and happy railfanning to all.

Got back to the Indiana sub for the first time in 3 years. Although I didn't get exactly what I was looking for it still was a success. It was nice to take a time capsule back about 30 years or so with the CPLs, code lines and grade crossings with older flashers, gates and mechanical bells. Should have the video up in the next week or so.

Although I didn't get a whole day to railfan in July I still managed a few good catches and caught a decent amount of trains. Hoping to have a new video up and posted by the end of the weekend. Got shots mostly around the St. Louis area but also a couple in Illinois and one in my home area of northwest Indiana. The random shots in my home area will become a bit more common due to family happenings. Stay tuned for more and happy railfanning.
