Some fears are quiet….
Mine shows up on the stairs.
It’s such a normal thing, right? Just… stairs.
But for me, it’s a whole situation.
I slow down.
Hold the railing like it personally owes me protection.
Look down… look again… because why are the steps not looking normal today?
For a second I’m like
“okay… which one am I actually stepping on?”
And if someone is behind me?
Instant pressure. Now I have to pretend I’m walking normally while my brain is doing 50 calculations.
So yes, if you ever see me taking stairs very slowly…
just know I’m doing my best not to embarrass myself in public 😂
Stairs are simple.
Just not in my head.

Forgiving yourself is not easy.
It’s one of the hardest things I’ve had to learn….. because no one teaches you how to hold yourself with love…when all you’ve known is blame, guilt, and silence.
I no longer punish myself for how I survived.
I honour every version of me that got me here.
From looking at yourself with kind eyes and saying …
I forgive you. …You’re safe now. Let’s move forward.
