ANNOUNCEMENT OF MY CANDIDATURE FOR PRESIDENT

Fellow Citizens,

I am Aaron Mwelwa, popularly known as Umusepela Crown, from Nyanje Village in Chilubi District, Northern Province, and raised in Mindolo D Section, Kitwe on the Copperbelt.

After careful reflection and broad consultations, I am honored to announce my candidature for the office of President under the Umuntu Chipalakasa (UCP) Party, whose symbol is the Brain.

My announcement comes after the successful filing of my nomination because I wanted to ensure all legal requirements were fulfilled and to engage stakeholders and citizens before making a public commitment. While nomination is a legal process, announcing a candidature is a commitment to the people.

As a vibrant young citizen, I am contesting this election to serve my country, represent the aspirations of a new generation, and provide innovative solutions to the challenges facing our nation. I believe youth participation in leadership is essential for national development and democratic growth.

I enter this race with humility, determination, and a commitment to serve all citizens regardless of their background. My vision is a nation that creates opportunities for every citizen, empowers young people, supports entrepreneurship, improves livelihoods, and ensures access to essential services for all.

I call upon all citizens to join me in building a stronger, more prosperous, and united nation. Together, we can shape a future that reflects the hopes and aspirations of every citizen.
