Thanks for all the good wishes after I came down with the dreaded winter lurgy. I'm over the worst of it now and have managed to get most of the work done on the next episode. I had aimed for Monday evening but I've noticed a few tweaks that need making so have put it back until tomorrow. Apologies to anyone planning to tune in tonight for the latest episode of Tales from The Hangman’s Record. Over the last few days I’ve been trying to fend off the dreaded winter lurgy and had managed OK until yesterday...Woke with a throat that feels like I’ve swallowed a packet of razor blades, so recording the audio this morning has had to be postponed, and therefore my plans to complete the video for tonight have been thwarted.

The schedule this month has now been altered, and the aim will be now for it to premiere in the usual Monday evening slot, so keep an eye out for updates. So for me it’s a hot lemon and back to bed and hopefully watch Bolton Wanderers beat Doncaster Rovers this afternoon, oh and a Happy New Year X

Second premiere of the week tonight at 7pm GMT. This is a revised and revamped version of Episode 46 which was published a year or so ago. At the time I was looking at ways to save time and experimented with voice cloning and AI. I used it on the original video and received mixed comments, some unaware that my 'assistant' wasn't a real person, but most stating they preferred the usual voice. Having seen so many YouTube channels using AI audio I find most unwatchable, as they don't even attempted to amend the mispronunciations. I tried it with mine and found it took longer to edit and repair the errors than it did to do the actual audio the traditional way. So after one episode I sacked it off. This second version has the usual audio and I have also added and amended the original script. Normal service resumes on Monday night with Episode 107. Cheers Steve x https://youtu.be/6UwhR99PB3k
