Hey everyone! The bar exam is just over a week away. I don't know how many of you will be taking it alongside of me, but best of luck to everyone who does! I may upload once or twice before the exam, but regular uploads won't truly pick back up until after the exam.

Apologies again for the lack of content this year. Whether you're here for the magic or for the law school stuff, I appreciate you sticking with me through the end of law school. It's a bit surreal to be at this point, but I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your help through the journey! I'll be back to it soon!!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I’ve been a bit preoccupied with graduation and now bar prep. I’m hoping to get back into posting more regularly soon! For those of you who don’t know, here’s a bit on my background and why this meant so much to me:

Seven years ago I was a college dropout. Today, I can finally say that I’m a law school graduate. However, I accomplished something a bit bigger than that.

Many of you know that I was pursuing my JD, but some of you may not be aware of the fact I was completing a Master’s degree simultaneously.

Not only am I a law school graduate, but I now hold a Master’s in Sports Law and Business.

That isn’t what I’m most proud of though. I’m proud of the fact that I came back. Seven years ago, I was ready to quit. I didn’t think I’d ever step back on a college campus, let alone graduate. Yet here I am.

In 7 years, I completed 3 undergraduate majors, law school, and a Master’s program. I’ve obtained a B.A., B.S., JD, and MSLB in that time. More than that though, I proved myself wrong.

I came back when I was on the verge of quitting. I came back from being a college dropout. I came back from nearly failing out of college a second time. I came back.

A huge shoutout to my amazing friends, family, and mentors who helped me along the way. All of you believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. I wouldn’t be here without all of you. Thank you!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately!! I’ve been gearing up for my MPRE (the professional responsibility exam law students have to take).

The exam is Thursday so I’ll have some more time after that! I’ll be back to posting regularly before you know it!

Hey everyone! I’ve recently been working with the 4MOM Foundation. They’re a charity that helps families through their battle with Alzheimer’s and they do amazing work! Tomorrow is our annual Golf Tournament, and it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. I wanted to share a link to our website and donation page so you can check it out and show it some love!

www.the4momfoundation.org/

I’d love to spread the word and get the name out there in celebration of 4MOM’s 10th anniversary! Even if you aren’t able to donate, showing some love and spreading the message means the world to us!

Here’s a quick background on 4MOM:

In 2014, Suzy Bishop was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Wanting to show his support, her son, Braden Bishop, began writing 4MOM on his arm for all of his college baseball games. Soon, Braden was running weight lifting competitions, walkathons, and fundraisers to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and support families in their fight against the disease.

For a Mother’s Day game, Braden even got every player on both teams to write 4MOM on their arms, hats, gloves, shoes, etc… What started as a simple message, quickly grew into something more. Braden and his brother Hunter worked to grow 4MOM as the two of them worked their way up to MLB rosters.

Sadly, Suzy Bishop passed away in 2019. Since then, Braden and Hunter have continued growing the charity, and battling, 4MOM.

As a side note, we are also revitalizing the charity’s YouTube channel. I’ll be posting a channel trailer there soon and we’ll have regular content going up about the impact 4MOM makes, education on Alzheimer’s, and behind the scenes looks at our events. The revenue gained from the channel will go to helping families struggling with Alzheimer’s. Give it a look when you have a chance. New content will be out early next week at the latest!

Thank you again for all of your support! Even taking the time to read all of this and increase the awareness of 4MOM means the world to us!
