IOSCO is a global standard-setting body that regulates securities markets to ensure financial activities in member countries are fair, transparent, and stable.

The Commissioner of VFSC said this marks an important milestone for Vanuatu after three years of efforts to join the international body. He added that becoming a member of IOSCO means Vanuatu now receives significant recognition globally in the financial services sector.
