My name is Cindy Chen, of Cindy Chen Designs, and I am an avant-garde makeup artist and content creator. You might know me from TikTok as @cindychendesigns, or you might be completely new to my channel! I hope that through my channel, we can spread the love of makeup artistry to everyone we know and everyone we don't.
I was previously a professional graphic designer for many years before I decided to leave the corporate world and become a makeup artist. I specialize in full face makeup art. Avant garde makeup is all about pushing the boundaries of what we understand in beauty and it's also called experimental makeup, fine art makeup, creative makeup, and sometimes combined with SFX (special effects) makeup.
