Perhaps it took me years to understand that peace is not something I need to search for;
Peace was never lost somewhere in the noise of the world.
It was right here, among the scent of rain-soaked earth, the sound of the wind weaving through the trees, unpretentious sunrises, and sunsets that never seem to be in a hurry to end. 🌾
I understood life when I stepped away from its complexities;
when mornings had a meaning of their own,
when my hands smelled of soil,
when the simple exhaustion of an ordinary day felt sweeter than a thousand heavy thoughts.
Here, I learned that happiness is not always about having more;
sometimes, it is about wanting less.
It is found in a simple home, an uncomplicated table, a few trees, the sound of birds, and a heart that no longer tries to become like everyone else.
I found my peace here,
among these very simple things.
And perhaps more importantly,
I found myself…
For me, the village is not merely a place on a map;
it is a part of my identity.
It is where I can touch my roots,
where I remember who I have been,
what truly matters to me,
and how deeply happy one can be while living simply.
I didn’t choose to merely live in the countryside;
here, I chose to learn how to live again.

These are heartbreaking days for many of us in Iran. The loss of human lives, including soldiers who have been killed, has left our nation in deep sorrow. No words can truly ease the pain of those who have lost their loved ones.
