As a fashion designer, I started imagining the kind of world she could belong to, and that took me back to my years teaching fashion design and some very special Barbie memories.

And I have to say, I’m really enjoying the comments because you are noticing the sewing techniques I’m using in this video. ❤️

Even though I’m making clothes for a Smart Doll, the sewing process is still the sewing process! Reading the pattern, matching the pieces, handling curves, finishing seams, solving little problems, and finding ways to get a clean result; all of those techniques are useful whether you’re sewing for a doll or for a person.

So if you enjoy sewing, I think you’ll find something interesting in this one, even if you’re not a doll collector.

❤️ I think I found a doll that was made for me!

I just unboxed Luna Skye from the Mirror Mi collection, and even though I wasn’t planning to get her specifically, she ended up being the one I connected with so well.
and, of course, being a fashion designer, I couldn’t just leave her alone… 😂😂😂. I started designing new clothes for her!
For this video, I even tried something a little bit different: I used Procreate to create three fashion designs for Luna. I created an overall, a school uniform, and pajamas.

Now I need your help choosing which one I should make 🤗

We can alter them, repurpose them, add to them, take them apart, and turn them into something completely different.
