Is it possible to be a Star Wars fan & a Star Trek fan?

This year I've finally started watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. For at least a decade I wanted to experience good old stuff like all the OG Star Trek series, Battlestar Galactica & Stargate. The past 5 years I've only been watching old movies and old shows from a time when it wasn't all gay retarded woke shit and "grey".

This year I watched TNG so far and greatly enjoyed it. It has a purity to it that modern stuff lacks and some episodes were very deep and asking profound questions about reality which I enjoyed so much. I've always loved Star Wars more, but I respect what Star Trek was as well (since both are completely screwed today). Despite the deep questions and themes Star Trek has (used to have) there is one thing where I find it very naive. Well in Star Trek the federation seems to believe that all cultures are equal which if you actually try to push in th real world will be a self deletion for your culture because of it's stupidity. Not all cultures are equal, some are better then others and it's right to say it instead of being stupid and loosing your head for it. Their moral subjectivity I'd argue is ridiculous and reminds me of recent events I've heard of in the UK where someone called the police to arrest a man carying a large knife on his belt. Instead of arresting the illegal imigrant, the refused to and said "it's his culture" despite it being against the law in the UK. Well that is what the federaion does in Star Trek. Star Wars has a much better hold on right from wrong without a doubt both in universe and in the real world.

Also I'd argue that the prime directive is quite immoral and has no basis for believing non interference is good or bad. It's just a thing they made up since they have no moral oughts to do anything.
Don't get me wrong I really like Star Trek and it still has incredible story lines and characters despite this nit pick. It has that OLD GOODNESS feeling to it as all the pre 2000s shows and movies had.

But overall I just bought the LEGO Star Trek USS Enterprise D and am building it while moving on to Deep Space Nine Season 3.
