Say hello to the newest paid membership tier: Early Access!

What does this entail? Starting this month, Premieres are being phased out due to the lack of support for 4K60 uploads. People who join at the Early Access level will be able to view future uploads (starting after November 17th) right as I put them up, no waiting for them to release to the general public!

This membership tier is available for $4 Canadian per month & includes all of the perks from the $2 basic tier alongside it.

A HUGE change will be coming at the end of the year for this channel: with my upgrade to 4K60 quality on some videos & premieres not supporting that high quality level (those only go as high as 1080p60), I will be switching to an early access model that will be accessible to a new membership tier. Stay tuned.

Premieres will continue through the next few months & through the Christmas season.

I've decided that going forward, future Shorts will become a paid extra for this channel to show bonus content or remixes of existing videos outside my regular schedule. They will be available to all paying members, no higher tier needed. Pre-existing Shorts will remain freely available to all as locking them behind a paywall after having them publicly available just wouldn't be fair.

For those who may be wondering if I have a MkV train ride video coming soon, that answer is YES! I caught that train completely by pure fluke on its first day of service. The ride video from Edmonds to Scott Road will include a walk through the train, a ride near the front & the train pulling out, all in 4K60. Expect that to release on September 15 once I get it uploaded at some point.

It turns out I had originally shot those 2 SkyTrain OMC4 videos in 4K60 originally without realizing it & had downscaled to 1440p60 when editing. Expect a couple of experimental 4K60 test videos soon once the construction near OMC4 moves to the other track.

Instead of Saturdays upon finding out that I won't be home on those days either, releases will be moving to Mondays! One more Friday release will happen on April 4th, then the move to Mondays will take effect after that.

Starting in April, my weekly video release schedule will be moving to every Saturday. This works better for me as I'm not home on most Fridays lately.
