Hereโs a little update from below deck ๐๐ ๏ธ My HMS Victory (1:84) build with Artesania Latina is slowly entering the next phase โ but the next stop-motion video will take some time to complete.
These shots show the illuminated lower hold, including barrels, support structures, and the detailed floor work. The ship is starting to come alive โ step by step.
๐ฝ๏ธ As you can imagine, both the building and the stop-motion animation process take time, planning and precision โ and not every step is fast or flashy. But this is exactly what makes it such a rewarding journey.
๐ก Iโm considering doing a few livestream sessions (in German) where I share behind-the-scenes insights into my building and animation setup โ not during filming, but while preparing parts, rigging shots, or planning frames. Would you be interested in that kind of format? ๐ Let me know in the comments โ or just drop a ๐ if youโd join a stream.
More to come soon โ thanks for your patience and support!
Happy Easter from the Shipyard โ New Projects Incoming!
Ahoy, my friends โ and Happy Easter from my little shipyard!
While others are hunting for chocolate eggs, Iโm navigating the decks of two legendary builds: The HMS Victory from Artesanรญa Latina and the USS Constitution by Agora Models.
As you can see in the photos, the journey has just begun โ frames are rising, decks are taking shape, and the spirit of naval history is slowly coming to life on my workbench.
In the coming weeks, Iโll share the full building process of both historic ships โ step by step, plank by plank โ as they grow into two proud giants of the seas.
So grab your coffee, your tools (or your Easter chocolate), and join me on this new adventure here on the channel.
Stay creative โ and may your sails always catch the wind. โ Captain Joybeard
I'm currently working on a new plastic model kit of my favorite movie character's ship. Since the old kit has some parts I'd like to improve, a lot of personal 3D design will be included to the stop motion video. Unfortunately it will take it's time.
Would you like to see snippets of the progress as short clips?
I wish you all a peaceful sunday and just want to thank my youtube friends for reaching a beautiful ripdigit of subscribers on my youtube channel. Thank you very much for helping me grow the channel.
My Avro Lancaster B.MK. III Museum Diorama and my Auto Union Type D Racer won both a Gold Medal at the Euro Model Expo in Lingen, Germany. In addition my Lancaster Diorama achieved "best of show" award. I'm really happy with the show and thankful being a part of a fantastic community. Thanks for all the kind words. Best regards, Tom
Working on my Lancaster Diorama Video of a fictional aviation Museum with brand new printed figures on my ANYCUBIC Photon M3 Premium with their brilliant crystal clear resin. Don't know what's better for my Diorama: glossy or flat finish...
The Avro Lancaster project (stop motion assembly animation of a 1/32 scale plastic kit from Border) is almost finished and will be published soon. Probably the next days. Fingers crossed
Avro Lancaster in 1/32 from Border is almost finished for the huge paint job. The assembling video will be released - hopefully - in February. Fingers crossed... The Lancaster model is intended to simulate a museum scenario. What do you think: shall I separate the assembling stop motion from the diorama building and get two videos?
