10-12 chicken wings
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)
1 cup buttermilk (for marinating)
Oil (for frying)
1 cup dark chocolate (melted)
½ cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
Season the wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Coat them in buttermilk and let them marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for better flavor).
Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
Dredge the marinated wings in flour and shake off excess.
Fry until golden brown and crispy (about 8-10 minutes).
Drain excess oil on paper towels.
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until warm (do not boil).
Add in the melted chocolate, butter, and honey. Stir until smooth.
Dip each crispy wing into the warm chocolate sauce, coating evenly.
Let them rest for a minute to allow the chocolate to set slightly.
