Hey friends!!

I just wanted to take a moment to share a little behind-the-scenes of my side hustle journey.

Truly it's the unseen moments of staying up late to edit a video, filming after work, or spending hours working on this craft that have grown me as an individual.

There have been plenty of long nights, self-doubt, and setbacks along the way. It’s so easy to get caught up in comparing myself to others online, but I wanted to remind you (and myself) that progress is progress, no matter how small.

If you’re building a side hustle (or thinking about it), know that it’s okay to have ups and downs. Some days you’ll feel on top of the world, and other days you might feel like you’re not getting anywhere.

But trust me, consistency is key and that’s what I’m trying to remind myself today.

This is a gentle reminder for you, too <3

Thank you for being a part of this small community and for making younger Melanie believe that she does have a voice to share and a community to connect with!

I'm gonna get a little sappy here but I wanted to share my story with you:

I've never shared this but I think I started 2 YT channels in the past before this one. Got made fun of for my first YT channel back in middle school, so I quickly shut it down. Started a 2nd YT channel back in 2018, but was burning myself out, was going thru a lot mentally, and had really high unrealistic expectations - never got monetized yet had 1500 subs. I stopped posting when more ppl in my personal life found out about my channel (was scared of being judged and made fun of again).

Fast forward 7 years later, I truly believe that it really all is in God's timing. For me, I wouldn't have started this YT channel if I didn't open my Etsy shop back in 2022. I'm also a much healthier version of myself so I was more ready to start a new YT channel this time around.

If you've been wanting to start a YT channel but maybe you're afraid to do so, I want you to know that you are fully capable of sharing your story too. And even if no one believes in you, believe in yourself!

The greatest gift you can do for yourself is to support your own goals and dreams because no one can fully do that for you the way that you can.
