hey guys i wanted to jump on here and talk for a bit about the downsizing videos. i made those videos because ive seen other content creators make them, and seen them received positively. its something every plant parent does... but ive gotten pretty overwhelming hate on those videos to where im just super confused.
the comments are leaking onto all my other videos and even though i made those 3 weeks ago, the comments are on alllllll my videos. people really dont like that i downsized to make room for plants i actually like right now, or that i gave away my small thais so i could get one big one. they also dont like that i buy plants at all, or got rid of any plants at all. idk im just really upset by this which is saying something bc i never really let comments get to me, but there is so many of them that im just really not feeling it.
i dont delete people's comments on my videos or ban them unless theyre being actually horrific bc i believe in the freedom of speech and stuff. i opened up about this bc i was drowning in stress and mental load and i needed to downsize, i had sooooo many.
i still have less than half of what i had, despite bringing in a few new plants, but people are being petty & snarky about this so idk i guess dont expect content like this in the future, idk man haha i hope u guys r doing good but i just felt like i needed to say something in a post. like its been 3 weeks and these comments are still prolific, and idk what to do about it but communicate about it ://
thanks to everyone whos been understanding about this. its hard to open up about a downsizing process but i thought it would be helpful, i didnt expect this kind of reaction in any world or i just wouldnt have made them. im talking in circles so ill end this post here, have a good night guys <3 and thank u to the new members ive gotten on the channel!

overall im doing a lot better. my sleep schedule tho is totally destroyed and so i havent been posting the videos as early in the morning as i originally was, meaning theres not much time before they go live at 6am my time for them to go out early (i get them posted from 3-4am my time)
these are things which will be fixed going forward in march, but thank u for ur lenience! i really really appreciate everything u guys do for me and how you make me feel comfortable. thank u so much for being here, i love how cozy and small this little community is right now. feels very homey, and like i know you guys.
Hey everyone, todays video has gotten some people upset with me because i mentioned i took a cutting of the plant before returning it to the HOME DEPOT. I bought this plant 3 weeks before returning it, and i took a cutting of a pretty piece, 30 minutes before returning it.
I asked the head customer service manager of home depot if it was okay. they said absolutely and they accept plants back for 90 for any reason at all with 0 stipulations. I explicitly stated i took a cutting and they said it doesnt matter how much you take, its yours when u own it to do what you like, and u can return it for any reason within 90 days. They did say however that plants are the only product this applies to at home depot.
Im sorry to anyone i upset by this. I mentioned it in the video for transparency sake, not to promote doing this, because i value that with you all.
Anyways, i hope this helps, and if u need to stop watching me i totally understand. There are amazing creators out there for u to watch and i hope you all have a good evening. Thanks!
*edit below* a discord member's husband works for HD loss prevention for 5 locations. she said that he told her theres no issue with taking a cutting when you own it, and this is coming straight from the ppl who prosecute people for stealing from HD.
*edit continued* THAT BEING SAID i do understand what everyone is saying and while i thought i was just doing something innocent by taking a small cutting, i see peoples points. but it really wasnt that deep or malicious, i just truly thought this one piece was cute but i will think more deep about it in the future. thanks everyone xoxo
