Making anime-related videos has been super challenging due to copyright issues. It takes hours to produce one video, only for it to be blocked in the end. Because of this, I've had to place watermarks over some of the videos too. Platforms like Patreon would allow me to upload videos without issue, and some of you have also requested for me to make one. I'll be honest, I've thought about it a lot because it would make producing content so much less time-consuming... Ultimately, putting any content behind a paywall does not sit right with me, and I don't want to split you guys between multiple platforms either.
I really enjoy reading your comments about your own personal experience growing up watching shows like Digimon, Beyblade, and Medabots, etc. I've thought long and hard about whether or not I should monetize this channel so that I can grow it and over time hire help to improve the quality of the videos...
Putting content behind a paywall is counterproductive to what I'm trying to build for us here, which is ultimately a positive community in which anyone can participate. I appreciate that quite a few of you want to directly support the channel, and I'm super grateful, so I've created a single-tier membership for the channel. I will continue to fund the channel, and any revenue generated from memberships will go toward improving the channel.

I for one, have and continue to enjoy reading your comments! I’ve learnt a lot and gained new insights, many of which have come from those of you whom have pushed back on some of the opinions I have shared on a given video, which I'm grateful for. 🙏🏽

So as I work through them you may start to see some shorter form videos pop up on the channel, but rest assured I am working diligently on the long form retrospectives 🤜🏾🤛🏼
