It was a dream i saw when i was a kid to have my name plate out of a hospital room and My parents tried their best to fulfill my every Dream. Born in a small village (with a number of houses in it )(A pure village)of punjab Pakistan and district okara. My father a small scale farmer with big dreams for his daughter worked tirelessly to give his kids the brightest future and he managed to send us to Top schools , top colleges and than affording a private medical school fee, which If Imagine I cant pay , I don't know hoe he managed to do all of that with not even a single word of complain. He trusted his daughter and the confidence I wear today is all because of my father. When I got admission in med school, people said alot of things about spending on education of a girl and than spending on her marriage and all ( these things are common in rural areas of Pakistan) . Inspite of all those stuff my father never hesitated to spend on my education. And It always inspires me that how liberal my father thoughts are even after spending his whole life in a small village, i hvnt seen such broad minds even in most of the people living in big cities. What a progrissive mind set my father has is just amazing. And today I treat all my patients confidently ,most of them are from very well backgrounds , highly educated , from all fields of life even foreigners and i talk to them with my head high. After years of hard work , sleepless nights , years of hostel life , surviving independently in such crowded n big city like lahore and bearing all the home sickness, missing mama's delicious food every day, and missing siblings company and fighst also . Today I stand in the list of best dentists in pakistan. When you see me you are not just seeing me you are seeing that blind trust my father kept in me. My father used to call me " beta " and now he tells people that " Maryam ne mje beta ban k dikkhaya ha" PROUD DAUGHTER OF A PROUD FATHER. ALHUMDULILLAH
So never compromise on education of your daughters.
