🌌Iceland was such a dream and I’m so glad I had my custom sketchbook to share what I created during my travels. Whenever I share anything travel related, two questions inevitably come up: where do I get (insert travel supply item here) and how can I make my own sketchbook?



I know some of you say that when I link something in the comments you aren’t able to click it easily, so I wanted to address both those in an accessible way. 🎨🖌️ Every month in my Patreon we get together on a Google Meet and create together. Sometimes we go through a tutorial I lead and sometimes we go through challenges together and it’s the patrons that get to vote and decide what we’ll be doing. This month’s vote has decided that we’ll be doing a limited color challenge.
It’ll be a great opportunity to help unlock how to choose colors and saturations to play with values in making a cohesive and interesting painting and not just focus on color matching. If you’ve been around for a while, you know I used to do quite a few of these (I’ve linked one here) and I can’t wait to see everyone’s paintings on Saturday!

🍂The mornings have had a chill in the air and there’s no doubt that autumn will be here soon. I’m trying to soak up these final moments before the seasons shift and when my garden flowers are no longer blooming. I challenge you to look around, get inspired by your surroundings, and create something to celebrate the end of summer (or winter for my friends in the southern hemisphere).

I’m so excited that the book will be more accessible to those who feel more comfortable following along in German (or Polish) and love that some of you are going to use the translated versions to practice your language skills. 🖼️🖌️I'm really excited for our Patreon live paint along this weekend and wanted to share a little bit more about it in case you might be interested. We paint live together every month and the Patrons get to vote on what they want to paint/work on. Sometimes we paint something a little more detailed and sometimes it is something we can paint multiple times within our time together so that we can practice and learn more about timing or loosening up. We explore questions and troubleshooting in real-time and I LOVE seeing what everyone has painted in the end. I always repost the live in the Patreon, so if you can't join us live, you can always paint with us at a time of your choosing and then share your results in our discord if you'd like!
