It's been a long time since I posted any updates on my channel or Discord, but I assure you that the fog game is alive, and I'm still very focused on finishing it!
Over the past few months, a lot has happened. I’m excited to share that I’ve become a full-time indie developer. Right now, I’m working on two games: one is a multiplayer project on Roblox (yes, Roblox) that requires constant updates, and the other is a multiplayer horror game I’ve been developing over the past several months.
The Roblox game is a whole other story that I’d be happy to tell you about someday. However, I haven’t shared videos of it yet out of respect for this community I’ve built. I know most of you are here for fog game updates. The Roblox project is quite different from what I typically share here, but if you'd like a video where I dive into the story behind it, let me know, I’d be happy to make one!
[About the Horror Game] This is a project I’m aiming to finish in 2025, using the community and visibility I’ve gained from the Roblox project. It’s being developed in Unity, and I’m applying the same detailed approach that I’ve showcased in my videos. You can expect devlogs for this game in the future!
[And Finally, The Fog Game!] Since I’m juggling these two projects, I’ve put fog game on hold to focus heavily on pre-production. I want this game to be as polished and well-thought-out as possible, including its map, design, and mechanics. I’m determined not to add anything without careful consideration.
I’m also leaning toward giving the game a retro aesthetic inspired by the PlayStation 2 era and its mysterious, atmospheric games. This approach not only fits the theme but also significantly improves my workflow, thanks to the simpler models and graphics.
Hello there! Hope you're having an awesome day or night!
Development on the project is going really well, and a LOT of improvements and new features are being added. Between my studies of marketing and project management, a question has arisen in my thoughts. 📬
Would you prefer to see more frequent videos (maybe 3 videos a month) with a shorter duration (5~10 minutes), or continue with more detailed and longer videos each month (as it is)?
1,600 subscribers! 🥳 Damn, we could fill an entire country with this amount! (Probably a very small, tiny country).
Since my last devlog, I've been listening to all the good feedback from the comments and implementing a lot of stuff, so the next devlog should be coming soon! And also, please, always send me new ideas and feedback; I value them a lot!
My university exams finally ended a week ago, and I used this time to play a lot of the new Elden Ring DLC - finally finished this weekend. Now, I'm focusing on editing of the third devlog. This will probably be the longest of them, with a duration around 25 minutes covering all these two months of development.
Expect to see a new video this week! See you there 🥳
The development of the project is going quite slowly (due to college exam season), but it's progressing! Right now, I could release a video about 10 minutes long discussing the content I've created so far, but I prefer to accumulate a bit more news to make a more packed video! At least, that's the kind of devlog I enjoy, full of updates and deeply immersed in the game world.
The next devlog will probably be out in the second half of next month! See you there!
I'm thrilled to see the channel grow after these two devlogs about my game. The past few weeks have been busy because of college, but I'm still using my free time to develop. I hope to share a new devlog soon!
Hello everyone! I've just uploaded a new video today. Since YouTube tends to miss sending notifications sometimes, I wanted to drop this message here too! Hope you all enjoy the new devlog! :D
I'm really happy to see all the positive comments on the new video and glad it made a good first impression of my game.
I'm working with all the free time I have on the project - currently focusing on creating a new character and improving the environment. Alongside that, I'm also working on new video material for the second devlog, which will be released in the next few weeks!
