He Could Have Taken Over ₦10 Million…But He Chose Integrity. In a time when many, including myself, doubt the integrity of our security forces, one man stood out and reminded us that good people still exist in our agencies.

A suspected Enugu "BILLIONAIRE NATIVE DOCTOR", accused of horrific ritual killings for money he never had and reportedly trying to flee the country, was apprehended at a checkpoint in Gbaji, Seme Frontier, by a brave Immigration Officer, Prince Orji Ugochukwu.
Despite being offered a ₦10 million bribe, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and a Tecno Camon 19, Officer Ugochukwu refused. He stayed firm, followed the fleeing suspect after he tried to evade the checkpoint, and brought him back, risking his own safety in the process.
According to the story making rounds on social media, the officer said:
"On Wednesday afternoon, while discharging my duty at my checkpoint in Gbaji along Seme Road, I saw a bike carrying a young man wearing a face cap. His face looked familiar, it flashed back to me because I had received information about someone trying to escape, along with his picture, which had been going viral on social media.
I tried to stop the bike, but the rider refused to stop. I quickly boarded another bike and followed them immediately. I eventually caught up with them at another immigration checkpoint ahead. I ordered the bike rider to turn back, but this time, I got on the bike with the suspect.
On our way back to my checkpoint, the suspect stopped the bike and began asking me what he had done. I brought out my phone and showed him his pictures and the crime he was accused of. He denied everything, claiming that the person in the photo was his brother, not him. He said he was just coming back from a bank in Agbara and that he wasn’t a native doctor.
After some time, he attempted to bribe me with ₦10 million to let him go. I refused. He insisted he had done nothing wrong and that people were trying to set him up because it was his turn to become the Igwe (king) of their community.
When I still refused, he went on to offer me his iPhone 13 Pro Max and Tecno Camon 19, saying the iPhone alone was worth over a million naira, and pleaded again for me to let him go. I rejected all his offers and forced him back to my checkpoint at Gbaji along Seme Road.
There, I took the pictures of him that are now going viral online and sent a signal to my command, the Seme Border Patrol Command. After confirming that he was indeed the wanted suspect, I immediately handcuffed him and moved him to our command head office.
Interestingly, even my colleagues were in disbelief, as no one else recognized him, only I did."
