Truly truly truly feeling blessed. This honestly could have turned out so much worse.
Nic knows there was an angel looking out for him that told him exactly how to land. The way he landed honestly made all the difference and protected his head, neck, spine, ribs, etc. He’s definitely beaten up, but nothing a little time and healing won’t fix. 🙏🏼
When he spent the night in the hospital, I was in the recliner next to him, going in and out of sleep. I was honestly feeling pretty angry about the whole thing. In that liminal space, I had a conversation with myself from the timeline where he died and myself from the timeline where he was paralyzed.
Both of those me’s from the other timelines told me to shut up and be grateful. The me from the timeline where he died would have taken him in any shape or form. The me from the timeline where he was paralyzed was just so angry for him. They told me how much I have to be grateful for, and they’re right.
Even though Nic is in a ton of pain and helping him heal in a school bus in the middle of a parking lot isn’t exactly ideal 😅 we’re both feeling the love from our community and the universe. What a whirlwind this has been.

We were supposed to fly out today, but then JetBlue delayed our flight, and now we have to fly out tomorrow. We just made it safely out of the Ecuador protests but not until we had spent three days trapped and finding tiny dirt road routes around piles of burning tires. We'll have a full video coming out about it soon with all kinds of crazy footage but TOMORROW at 10:00 AM Central Time we are going to do a 🔴LIVE VIDEO 🔴 talking about some of the experiences while they are still fresh.
