And so to commemorate the upcoming release of both the Pristine Cut and the Vengeance Saga, here is a drawing of LQ battling Apotheosis based on the giant Poseidon scene in the Vengeance trailer! I would like to give my sincerest apologies to anyone who has lost brain cells trying to read this, because I've lost my fair share of them while writing it. There are weevils crawling around inside my skull and they won't stop chewing. I hope you all have cursed day!
Well turns out I've been gone for much longer than I expected. But don't worry, this time I actually have videos on the horizon! I've just started delving into digital art and I've got so many ideas for animatics to make. Plus, I've gotta cash in on that Vengeance Saga hype somehow!
In the meantime have this little image I drew a while back. It's a combination of two of my current fixations, Epic: The Musical and Slay The Princess.
Turns out it's really hard to draw this many bodies, and it's even harder to draw them all interlocking in a coherent way! So massive props to the creators of StP for their work with the Shifting Mound (and their amazing art in general)!
Sorry if I've been gone a while. College has really been bringing me through the wringer (heh) recently and I haven't had time to post this! Don't worry I still have big plans for this channel in the future, but uploads will probably be quite slow. In the meantime, here's some doodles of Odysseus I made in my spare time. I hope you enjoy!
Since this channel used to be (and sorta still is) a Gildedguy themed channel, thought I might draw some fanart of my favorite golden knight. It's Gildedguy's journey to Mar's tower but set to the words of the "You're on a path in the woods" sequence from Slay the Princess, which is another piece of media I really love.
I think I did a pretty good job on this one. I don't usually do much with backgrounds so I was a bit out of my comfort zone, but I think the backdrops turned out alright. Something I think I did really good on is the composition. From a zoomed out shot of him wandering the snow, then him staring upwards at the tower, to him looming over Mar (with only his sword visible), and finally him tiny in the corner, dwarfed by the dragon’s colossal size. Call me self congratulatory but I think I did pretty great!
Anyways sorry for not posting videos in a while, college is picking up steam. Wisdom Saga was great though!
In honor of the Wisdom saga dropping, let's hear it for Poseidon who, as far as I know, won't be making an appearance in this saga! (except maybe a cameo in the time dive sequence)
He's a whole lot of fun to draw and I hope to one day in the distant future make a Ruthlessness animatic (once I learn how to not be terrible at drawing digital). He's such a massive hater and I love him for it!
I finally finished part 3 of that Slay the Princess and Epic: the Music comic I've been working. Well I finished it a few days ago and I jut got around to posting it here. As mentioned in previous posts, this is the Eye of the Needle fight to the tune of survive. And this time we're up to the chorus!
Sorry if this took so long to make, I swear I'm not actually that slow at drawing. I just procrastinate a lot and have a of other hobbies that distract me. But I'm really proud of how this turned out! The choreography is nice and each action flows very well with the next.
I had so much fun planning up and drawing all the different actions done between the two characters. I had an idea of the Slayer using the various scars he’s inflicted upon the Princess as stepping stones to climb her, as well as him using her hair to fling himself towards her heart. Surprisingly, both of these ideas translated really nicely onto the page! All in all, I’m very happy with the result.
Anyways this is the final chapter of this project. But I have a lot of other ideas along the way! And since I'm beginning to run out of pages on my notebook, I might get my hands on a real sketchbook real soon! (no more lines cutting everything up)
P.S. most of the good stuff happens on the second image, so you might not want to miss out on that.

I'm only posting them now because I'm a heavy procrastinator lmao. But part 3 is still unfinished because of the aforementioned procrastination and also college orientation. But once I actually get the motivation to pick up a pencil I do work rather fast, so expect that to come out soon!
Here is part 1 of a little comic I made mixing Epic the Musical and Slay The Princess, two pieces of media I absolutely adore. It's a depiction of the fight at the end of the Eye of the Needle chapter but to the tune of the Survive (the second verse specifically). I really tried to push my limits with this one in terms of dynamic posing and choreography, and I personally think I succeeded. I hope you guys, gals, and enby pals enjoy and I'll be posting part 2 and 3 pretty soon!
I really want to make more Slay the Princess related content in the future so I hope you folks are alright with that! But I still have a lot of Epic related projects on the horizon too, so y'all have that to look forward to as well! I finally finished part 3 of that Slay the Princess and Epic: the Music comic I've been working. Well I finished it a few days ago and I jut got around to posting it here.
