سردی کا موسم...
یہ موسم بھی کتنا عجیب ہے — دل اکثر اُداس سا ہو جاتا ہے، مگر پتہ نہیں کیوں، اس اُداسی میں بھی ایک سکون چھپا ہوتا ہے۔
اس موسم میں شاید اپنے لیے زیادہ وقت مل جاتا ہے۔
یہ موسم بہت اچھا لگتا ہے، مگر اس کا اصل لطف اکیلے رہ کر ہی آتا ہے۔

جب شدید سردی میں چائے کا کپ لیے، آسمان کے نیچے دھند میں بیٹھ کر زندگی کے بارے میں سوچتی ہوں —
اپنے مستقبل کو، ماضی کو، حال کو، اور آخرت کو…
آہ، کیا وقت ہوتا ہے وہ بھی۔
چاروں طرف خاموشی، اور دل و دماغ خیالات میں گم… مگر عجب سا سکون دل میں اترتا چلا جاتا ہے۔

اکثر سردیوں کی راتوں کو اُداس راتیں کہا جاتا ہے،
مگر مجھے یہی اُداس راتیں پسند ہیں۔
شاید اس لیے کہ ان میں مجھے خود سے باتیں کرنے کا موقع ملتا ہے۔
اور سردی کے آغاز کے ساتھ ہی ایک احساس جاگ اٹھتا ہے —
کہ ایک اور سال اپنے اختتام کے قریب ہے۔
ایک سوچ، ایک سوال —
پچھلے سال کیے گئے خود سے وعدوں میں سے کتنے نبھا پائی، اور کتنے ابھی باقی ہیں؟

جیسے جیسے موسم بدلتا ہے، دل کی کیفیت بھی بدل جاتی ہے۔
مجھے اس موسم کا انتظار رہتا ہے —
دل چاہتا ہے اس کے ہر لمحے کو محفوظ کر لوں۔
گھنٹوں اکیلے بیٹھوں، چائے کی بھاپ اور دھند کے ساتھ خود کو محسوس کروں،
اور کوئی بھی مجھے میری صحبت سے جدا نہ کرے۔

گرمیوں میں موسم اجازت نہیں دیتا،
مگر سردیوں میں انسان کو خود کے ساتھ وقت گزارنے کا موقع مل جاتا ہے۔
اور وہ لمحے، وہ تنہائی،
وہی تو سب سے خوبصورت سکون ہیں۔

شاید یہی وجہ ہے کہ یہ موسم جلدی چلا جاتا ہے…
اسی موسم میں کچھ یادوں اور وعدوں کا اختتام ہوتا ہے،
اور نئی باتوں، نئی سوچوں، اور نئی امیدوں کا آغاز۔

یہ موسم خاص ہے —
کیونکہ اس میں انسان سب سے زیادہ، خود کے قریب ہوتا ہے۔

If we look around, we will find many people who can recite the Qur’an beautifully but do not understand its meaning. Parents send their children to madrasahs and mosques where they learn how to read the Qur’an, and many children become so fluent that they can complete multiple recitations in just one month.

But even after learning to recite, they don’t know what Allah ﷻ is saying to us. They don’t understand the message, the lessons, or the guidance. Some people even become Huffaz (those who memorize the Qur’an), yet they still don’t know its meaning except a few Surahs they studied in school.

We train children only to recite, telling them that every letter gives ten rewards. But reciting alone is not enough. This is why today Muslims are weak and lost, while many non-Muslims are ahead — because we have left the Qur’an.

Many will say: “But I read the Qur’an daily.” Yes, but just reading is not enough. We must try to understand it. Reading the Qur’an with translation, or better, learning to understand it directly in Arabic, has a much deeper impact.

Non-Muslims who accept Islam often follow the teachings more strongly than born Muslims. Why? Because they study, research, and understand first, then accept Islam sincerely. They realize that this is the true word of Allah, and then they learn to recite it.

So, try your best to read the Qur’an with translation and Tafseer. Believe me, it is not difficult. If you understand even one Juz (Para), the rest will become easier. In the past, people had fewer facilities but stronger faith. Today, with so many resources — even for women at home — we can easily learn. If you can learn stitching or cooking from YouTube, then why not learn the Qur’an?

Even if you cannot memorize everything, read the Qur’an at least once with understanding and Tafseer. It will make your life decisions easier and show you how beautiful our religion truly is.

May Allah guide us all and grant us the light of the Qur’an. Please remember me in your prayers. 🤲
