I'm Freddy, I've been running RPGGamer.org for the past 20 years, it's mainly based on the West End Games version of the Star Wars Role Playing Game, but I'm interested in most SF, and most RPG's.
Mainly I look at old RPG's, and rule systems, but I'll cover anything else that attracts my mayfly attention.

Anybody else having problems getting back into their routine after Christmas and New Year? I just seem to be jumping from task to task trying to keep everything going, fingers crossed now we're back to a more normal pattern I can get organised once more.
Anyway, a fantastic win for the Buck Rogers Adventure Game, something I've really loved looking through these past few days, and we're back to a Retro Adventures poll. And first up is the Conan adventure I intended to cover a few weeks back, but got mixed up between the Conan adventures for D&D by TSR, and the Conan adventures for Conan by TSR. But there's a bunch of cool stuff here, the MERP adventure looks interesting, Earthdawn is always great, and I personally recommend the Medellin Agent even though I know already it's going to come last :(

And a win for Vault of the Drow, although many took on board my words for the Buck Rogers adventure Phases of the Moon and voted for it in memory of Gil Gerard, it only managed to hang onto the lead for a couple of days before the inevitable mass of votes for D&D came in for Vault of the Drow.
But in a Retro RPG poll we've got a second chance, as I've put the Buck Rogers Adventure Game (not Buck Rogers XXV, but the High Adventure Cliffhanger version which came out 3 years later), and a bunch of other interesting stuff in here, so lets see what wins.

And with the advent calendars, I'm not doing a fresh version of this for 2025, so here's last years again :p
And a very Merry Christmas to you all! Hope Santa is good to you.

So, here's the closeup of Adam's D&D Advent Calendar, which I'm guessing is supposed to be 50 Years of D&D, although that was 2024 . . . .

Should have expected that, Shadowrun winning with a massive lead, but nice to be looking at something a bit newer.
Anyway, back to a Retro Adventures Poll, and I'm putting Phases of the Moon in first for 2 reasons, firstly it's Buck Rogers, and we sadly lost Gil Gerard this week, who'll be the most 1970's hero the 25th century could ever generate. And because it's a Nigel Findlay adventure, and he's a RPG writing hero of mine as he did so much fantastic work. So even though we've not covered the Buck Rogers RPG, please consider voting for this one.
Although to be honest, I know which is going to win before we even start. But I've been wrong before.

And an amazing win for Conan the Mercenary (a Conan RPG adventure, not AD&D as I mistakenly listed it (I actually meant to list Conan against Darkness, the second AD&D Conan adventure, not the second Conan RPG adventure, but either works)).
Anyway, those are cleared out of the way, and we're onto a Retro RPG, a random smattering of stuff from my collection and can't believe I've not put the GM's companion for Millenniums End into the poll before, perhaps this will be the one you'll vote for to give me a Christmas gift!

So a most triumphant win for Xena and Hercules, which I have to admit surprised me as to the level of that win. But it's West End Games goodness, so loads of fun to be had with it.
And we're over to a Retro Adventures. Now this will be the videos released Christmas week, and the past couple of years I've put fairly oddball RPG's into it (Dallas was a winner the first year I did this), but I can't really think of enough to populate a full poll, so we'll just go with some games which have been very popular on the channel in the past, and each and every one has never been in a poll before, so we'll see which wins.

Closing off the poll a little early this week, but Last Rites has been dominating with no signs of that changing.
And we're back to a Retro RPG poll, and starting off with a couple of suggestions from viewers (although I nearly played Amber once, but the GM only had a photocopied set of the rules).

And a decent win for Hunter: The Reckoning, on it's first appearance in a poll, so nice to be looking through a game I really don't know much about.
And back to a Retro Adventures poll, and the Earthdawn adventure came third a month ago by a single vote, so I assume it'll be popular, and the rest are all the ones from the very first Retro Adventure polls which still haven't won, and I assume won't win this time either :D

And I've also been asked to give a shoutout to the Mongoose kickstarter, www.kickstarter.com/projects/mongoosepublishing/th…
