Rant warning. The following truth may offend some.
This is what the bike industry has become - bikes designed by non cyclists to be promoted online by NPC sell out shills who will promote anything if the pay check is enough.
These road disc frames are so fragile they crash crack at an alarming rate. The internal hydro lines can rub away at the frame causing failures. The internal cables thru the steerer mean a headset clean or swap is now up to a 3 hour job vs 10mins. Bikes are heavier than ever before in the pro peleton YET the amount of carbon binned to landfill each year is an ecological issue. The front ends are too stiff/unbalanced and it affects precision steering at speeds.
Ive literally swapped out/cleaned headsets at the top of climbs whilst waiting for stragglers yet on my own s-works SL8 I dread the day I need to do it. Maybe I will just pay 300AUD like others do. Nah. The day I need to do the headset clean is the day I pull off the stupid one piece bar/stem combo and put on a proper fork and bar set up that allows for less weight, better ergonomics and way more aero.

A HUGE reason why world tour cyclists and couch potatoes experience a SPIKE in performance when doing my dietary protocols is your RBC's DONT clump together like they used to. This AUTOMATICALLY SPIKES your VO2max and lets you perform AND recover WAY better than you used to.
You might have a SWEET hemoglobin of 16 g/dL but you WONT get all the watts out of that if your diet is too high in fat and protein which will cause your RBC's to CLUMP together just reducing oxygen uptake, transfer and delivery etc.
Do the experiment - CUT the fat/protein down as low as possible, eat unlimited sugars for 30 days and watch your watts SPIKE!

Not even Tadej is immune to the random brake grab road disc can cause. Road disc is too vulnerable to temp changes and grit in the pistons. The demands of road are NOT the same as dirt.
It’s fine to lose a bit of traction on the dirt BUT the demands of road are WAY different as we see here that loss of traction from inconsistent caliper modulation WILL cause crashes.
LUCKY he ok.

If I add up all the views I get across all my platforms each month I’m getting the most I’ve ever gotten since posting my opinions and advice online since 2003.
Moral of the story - platforms come and go. Trends come and go. But the grind to share the truth will always be here with me as long as I can hit that upload button on some device somewhere.
The day I get less than 2 views a day for a year is the day I might consider doing something else.

This CX rider talking about the importance of restricting fat and protein and eating only sugars when he wants to push MAX POWER.
I wonder where he got this info from? 🤔
What nutritionist tells people to cut right back on fat and protein and eat a diet based on refined carbs? They DON’T teach that in uni. So where are these riders getting this info from? A random Aussie bro on YouTube?

I bought a Livestrong Team Issue TT bike with low miles on it for 500AUD recently. It is lighter and faster than the modern day monstrosities. If I crashed it in half I wouldnt be too concerned because TOUR DE FRANCE LEVEL TT bikes from the fastest TT's ever only cost around 500-1000AUD in MINT condition in 2025. IYKYK.
?The fastest time-trial is Rohan Dennis's stage 1 of the 2015 Tour de France in Utrecht, won at an average pace of 55.446 km/h (34.5 mph). The fastest stage win was by the 2013 Orica GreenEDGE team in a team time-trial. They completed the 25 km time-trial at 57.7 km/h (35.85 mph)."
