Renowned in the Hindi, Urdu and English literary fraternity as the “Author of the Era,” Aftab Hasnain is an acclaimed author, playwright and storyteller whose remarkable body of work spans more than six decades. With a distinctive narrative style, he masterfully weaves stories that transport readers into enchanting realms of wonder, imagination and magic—truly bringing alive the essence of his literary philosophy: “Where Stories Come Alive, and Wisdom Grows.”
Born on 21st September 1951 in Mumbai, India, Aftab Hasnain has been captivating readers and audiences through his stories, plays and creative works for more than six decades.
He is a proud alumnus of Imperial High School, Mumbai, and a graduate of K.C. College, University of Mumbai, where he studied Economics and Political Science.
His outstanding contribution to literature and the arts has earned him numerous prestigious honours. Among them is the Sahitya Kala Parishad National Award (1991), presented by the then Secretary to the President of India.
Among his most distinguished early honours was the coveted Maharashtra Rajya Puraskar (1974), which he received as one of its youngest award recipients from the then Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Ali Yavar Jung, alongside eminent Marathi literary stalwarts Shri Vijay Tendulkar, Shri Vasant Sabnis and Shri Namdev Dhasal.
He has also been honoured with several distinguished Lifetime Achievement Awards, including the All India Waghdhara Nav Ratna Samman, which he received alongside celebrated actress Hema Malini from the then Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, in 2022.
Among his other prestigious and cherished honours are the Zainabia Award and the Sahitya Gaurav Samman, conferred by the Writers and Journalists Association.
Aftab Hasnain has written and published numerous books and literary works in several languages. He is the author of highly acclaimed full-length plays, including Yahan Ameena Bikti Hai, Chal Ud Ja Re Panchhi, Roshni, Allahumma Labaik and Aaram Baugh, among others. His contribution to Urdu and Hindi theatre is further reflected in Zar-aaf in Urdu and Natak Nagar in Hindi, collections of his one-act plays. His latest book, Dramain, and his latest play, Aftab–Mukesh, further enrich his remarkable theatrical repertoire.
He has written a vast number of stories for children, establishing a distinctive identity as a storyteller for young readers. Among his acclaimed books are Kahani Nagar, Kahaniyan Janwaron Ki, Khoon Ki Roti, Motey Miyan, Jadugar Se Inteqam and Mr. Afeemchi, followed by his collection Aftab Hasnain Ki Tees Kahaniyan. His English collections, The Animals and The Moralia, have further extended his literary presence to English readers and are available on Amazon.
His stories for young readers are enriched with moral values, timeless wisdom and meaningful life lessons. His narratives encourage young minds to explore friendship, courage, compassion, imagination and self-discovery. Government reduces sugar stock holding limit for sugar dealers to 2,000 quintals from 15th SeptembeR
New stock limit aimed to curb hoarding and speculative trading, protect consumer interest by ensuring adequate availability and price stability
Government of India has reduced the stock holding limit for sugar dealers from 4,000 quintals to 2,000 quintals, effective from 15th September, 2026 till 30th November, 2026, to ensure adequate availability of sugar in the domestic market and to prevent hoarding and speculative trading of sugar. At present, a stock holding limit of 4,000 quintals on sugar dealers across the country is effective from 1st August, 2026. The Government has now taken further measures by reducing the stock holding limit to 2,000 quintals.
Under the amended provisions, with effect from 15th September, 2026, a sugar dealer shall:
Not hold any stock for a period exceeding 30 days from the date of receipt of such stock.
Not keep sugar in stock, at any time and in any place throughout the country, in excess of 2,000 quintals.
However, considering the specific market requirements of the region, the stock holding limit shall remain at 4,000 quintals for Kolkata and its extended metropolitan areas.
The Kolkata area is sourcing sugar from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra and supplying to the eastern part of the country, including the North-Eastern region. Therefore, the existing limit of 4,000 quintals has been retained for Kolkata and its extended metropolitan areas.
The measure is aimed at further curbing hoarding, discouraging speculative trading and preventing excessive accumulation of sugar stocks. It will facilitate the orderly movement of sugar through the supply chain and ensure its continuous availability to consumers at reasonable prices.
Intensive monitoring and physical verification
The Government has undertaken intensive monitoring and physical verification of sugar stocks across the country, covering sugar mills, dealers and traders. The exercise has helped identify instances of excess holding, non-disclosure and irregularities in the movement and sale of sugar stocks.
As a result of these interventions and improved market availability, ex-mill sugar prices have declined by around 20% in recent days. Retail prices have also started showing a downward trend and are expected to follow the reduction in ex-mill prices.
Regular stock declaration and continued monitoring
The Government has been closely monitoring developments in the sugar market and has also put in place a mechanism for regular declaration and updating of sugar stocks through the Department of Food & Public Distribution’s online portal. Physical verification of sugar stocks across the country, covering sugar mills, dealers and traders, shall continue in the coming weeks. The Government assures consumers that it is taking all necessary steps to maintain adequate availability, orderly supplies and price stability of sugar in the domestic market, while ensuring that genuine trade and distribution activities continue without disruption.

अल-हयात हॉल में ऑल इंडिया क़ौमी तंजीम के कार्यक्रम में उमड़ा जनसैलाब, विदर्भ के 11 जिलों से जिम्मेदारों की रही शानदार मौजूदगी
अमरावती:ऑल इंडिया क़ौमी तंजीम महाराष्ट्र के संविधान बचाओ जनजागरण अभियान के तहत 31 अगस्त 2026 को अमरावती के अल-हयात हॉल, वलगांव रोड पर आयोजित भव्य कार्यक्रम शानदार कामयाबी के साथ संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम में शहर सहित विदर्भ के विभिन्न जिलों से सैकड़ों की तादाद में जिम्मेदारों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं, जनप्रतिनिधियों और क़ौमी तंजीम के पदाधिकारियों ने शिरकत की।
कार्यक्रम में प्रमुख अतिथि के रूप में मुनाफ हकीम साहब मा अध्यक्ष अल्पसंख्यक आयोग महाराष्ट्र,माजी पालकमंत्री डॉ. सुनील देशमुख, खासदार बलवंत वानखड़े साहब, विरोधी पक्ष नेता व माजी महापौर विलास इंगोले साहब, हाजी नज़ीर बीके साहब और नसीम खान पप्पू साहब प्रमुख रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में गुड्डू हमीद साहब, सादिक शाह साहब, इसरार आलम साहब, निसार जेके साहब, राजिक सर तथा तमाम कार्यकर्ताओं ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
विदर्भ के विभिन्न जिलों से क़ौमी तंजीम के जिलाध्यक्ष एवं प्रमुख पदाधिकारी विशेष रूप से कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे। इनमें नवेद अथर साहब, आसिम अली साहब, शेख जहीर छोटू साहब (चंद्रपुर), शाहरुख शेख (वर्धा), मुख्तार शेख (नागपुर), उलमा बोर्ड के अशरफी साहब, मोहम्मद अफसर साहब, डॉ. आबिद साहब, जुबैर खान साहब, आमिर साहब, सैयद जावेद साहब, सैयद राजिक सर, अफ़जल चौधरी साहब सहित अनेक जिम्मेदारों की उपस्थिति रही।
चंद्रपुर के माजी सभापति जहीर शेख, हमान तंवर वर्धा,छोटू साहब, अकोला के इसरार आलम साहब, यवतमाल के वसीम शेख और आसिम अली साहब सहित विभिन्न जिलों के पदाधिकारियों ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई।
अचलपुर से भी बड़ी संख्या में जनप्रतिनिधि कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे। नगरसेवक मतीन खान, नगरसेवक कदीर पहलवान साहब, नगरसेवक सैयद खान साहब, नगरसेवक शेख रिहान बल्ला ,हाजी नजीर बीके सहित कई नगरसेवकों ने कार्यक्रम में शामिल होकर अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई।
कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए अमरावती शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से भी बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ता और नागरिक पहुंचे। जावेद सौदागर एवं उनकी टीम, अलीम नगर की टीम, शेख बबलू साहब एवं ताज नगर की टीम, गुड्डू हमीद साहब की टीम, सादिक शाह साहब की टीम, हबीब नगर की टीम, नसीम खान पप्पू साहब की टीम, जुबैर भाई नाल साहबपुरा की टीम, लालखड़ी डॉ. आबिद साहब की टीम, डॉ. फिरोज मुजफ्फरपुरा-गौशनगर की टीम, अखिल पहलवान साहब, पठान चौक की टीम सहित तमाम कार्यकर्ताओं ने कार्यक्रम को कामयाब बनाने में अहम योगदान दिया।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन मास्टर आरिफ साहब, जो क़ौमी तंजीम के जिलाध्यक्ष भी हैं, ने प्रभावी ढंग से किया। वहीं इसरार आलम साहब ने आभार प्रदर्शन करते हुए कार्यक्रम में शामिल सभी मेहमानों, पदाधिकारियों, कार्यकर्ताओं और नागरिकों का शुक्रिया अदा किया।
कार्यक्रम के आयोजक अब्दुल रफीक अब्दुल रज्जाक ‘रफू’ पत्रकार, माजी शिक्षण सभापति अमरावती महानगर पालिका ने कहा कि यह कामयाबी किसी एक व्यक्ति की नहीं बल्कि तमाम जिम्मेदारों और कार्यकर्ताओं की मेहनत का नतीजा है। उन्होंने कहा कि शहर और बाहर से आने वाले प्रत्येक मेहमान ने कार्यक्रम को कामयाब बनाने में अपना योगदान दिया।
उन्होंने कहा कि जिन साथियों और मेहमानों के नाम किसी कारणवश उल्लेखित नहीं हो पाए हैं, उनका भी तहे दिल से शुक्रिया। अमरावती शहर के तमाम इलाकों और विदर्भ के विभिन्न जिलों से आए सभी लोगों का योगदान इस कार्यक्रम की सबसे बड़ी ताकत रहा।

A Celebration of Freedom, Unity and Patriotism
Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour at Rosary Convent High School & Junior College, Mumbra
Mumbra:Rosary Convent High School & Junior College, Mumbra, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and national pride. The campus resonated with the spirit of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” as students, teachers, parents and members of the community came together to honour the nation and remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
The National Flag was proudly hoisted by Smt. Marzia Shanu Pathan, Corporator, TMC, Thane, in the presence of Mr. Bhola Patil, Senior Social Worker, Principal Mr. Shadab Ahmed Shamim Usmani, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was followed by the singing of the National Anthem, creating a solemn and deeply patriotic atmosphere. Students presented a colourful array of patriotic programmes, including patriotic songs, speeches, cultural presentations and other performances, reflecting their love for the nation and their understanding of the values of freedom, unity and responsibility.
A special highlight of the celebration was the patriotic rally organised by the school. Students and staff participated with great enthusiasm, carrying the national flag and spreading messages of patriotism, unity, peace and responsible citizenship. The rally added vibrancy to the celebration and conveyed the message that the spirit of Independence must be reflected not only in celebrations but also in our everyday actions.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Shadab Ahmed Shamim Usmani emphasised the importance of nurturing responsible, disciplined and patriotic citizens. He encouraged students to value the freedom achieved through immense sacrifice and to contribute positively towards the progress and development of the nation.
The presence of the distinguished guests, parents and the entire school community made the celebration memorable and meaningful. The programme concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the ideals of unity, integrity, equality, peace and national service.

البقیع آرگنائزیشن کے روح رواں عالی جناب مولانا محبوب مہدی عابدی نجفی نے رسول خدا صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور امام حسن علیہ السّلام کی شہادت کی مناسبت سے تمام عالم اسلام کی خدمت میں تسلیت پیش کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ میں اس وقت کربلا میں ہوں جہاں ایک نعرہ عام طور سے لگایا جا رہا ہے "واللہ یا زہرا ما ننسی حسینا" اے فاطمہ زہرا خدا کی قسم ہم اپ کے حسین کو کبھی بھی فراموش نہیں کر سکتے یہ حقیقت بھی ہے کہ ہر محب اہل بیت کبھی بھی امام حسین کو فراموش نہیں کر سکتا کربلائے معلی میں جب امام حسین کا خوبصورت حرم اور روضہ نگاہوں کے سامنے آتا ہے تو بہت ہی سکون ملتا ہے لیکن ذہن میں یہ بات بھی آتی ہے کہ آپ ہی کے بڑے بھائی کا روضہ جنت البقیع میں کس طرح سے منہدم کر دیا گیا کہ وہاں ایک چھوٹا سا چراغ بھی نہیں جل رہا ہے یہ ایک ایسا ظلم ہے امام حسن اور مدفونین بقیع پر جو بنی امیہ کے وارثوں نے کیا ہے اس لیے ضروری ہے کہ تمام لوگ اس تحریک سے جڑیں اور فریاد بلند کریں انشاءاللہ بہت جلد جنت البقیع میں ایک خوبصورت روضہ تعمیر ہوگا۔
اہل سنت والجماعت کی نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے ایک محترم عالم دین محب اہل بیت چشتی سلسلے کی ایک معتبر شخصیت مولانا محمد معین الدین چشتی نے فرمایا کہ افسوس ہے کہ ان لوگوں کی قبروں کو منہدم کر دیا گیا جنہوں نے انسانیت اور اسلام کے لیے خدمت کی تھی ، امام اعظم حضرت ابو حنیفہ خود امام صادق کے شاگرد ہیں لیکن بقیع میں دشمنوں نے امام ابو حنیفہ کے استاد کے روضے کو بھی منہدم کر دیا ہم اس اہم انٹرنیشنل کانفرنس کے ذریعے اھلبیت رسول کے منہدم روضوں کی تعمیر کا مطالبہ کرتے ہیں اور بقیع کے لیے جہاں جہاں بھی آواز بلند ہو رہی ہے ہم اپنی حمایت کا اعلان کرتے ہیں۔
آیت اللہ العظمی شیخ محمد یعقوبی حفظہ اللہ تعالی کے ہندوستان میں نمائندے ، عالی جناب مولانا مرزا عابد علی صاحب نے بہترین تقریر کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ امام حسن علیہ السّلام نے کل بھی منافقین کے چہرے سے پردہ ہٹایا تھا اور آج بھی ان کا منہدم روضہ منافقین کے چہرے سے پردہ ہٹا رہا ہے امام حسن علیہ السلام، قران کے اعتبار سے رسول اللہ کے بیٹے ہیں تو اب میرا سوال یہ ہے کہ کوئی باپ سے محبت کرے اور بیٹے سے دشمنی کرے یہ کیسے ممکن ہے۔ ظاہر سی بات ہے کہ جب جنت البقیع میں روضہ تعمیر ہوگا تو وہاں دعائیں ہوں گی اللہ کی عبادت ہوگی۔
شہر لکھنؤ سے بزرگ اور محترم عالم دین مولانا مرزا جعفر عباس نے بہترین پیغام دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ نواسہ رسول کو قتل کرنے والے سب ظاہری طور پر مسلمان تھے جب ہم یہ کہتے ہیں کہ مسلمانوں نے امام حسین کو قتل کیا تو کچھ لوگ سوال کرتے ہیں کہ یہ کیسے ممکن ہے کہ مسلمان، رسول کے نواسے کی قبر منہدم کرے اس کا جواب یہ ہے کہ جنت البقیع مدینے میں ہے اور وہاں کا حاکم بھی مسلمان ہے اور اسی نے جنت البقیع کو منہدم کیا ہے اس لیے کوئی یہ تعجب نہ کرے کہ امام حسین کو مسلمان کیسے قتل کر سکتا ہے اگر اہل بیت کے روضوں کو مسلمان گرا سکتا ہے تو یہی مسلمان اہل بیت علیہم السلام کو شہید بھی کر سکتا ہے۔
ہندوستان میں البقیع آرگنائزیشن شکاگو امریکہ کے ایک فعال اور اہم رکن جناب محمد رضا عابدی نجفی نے فرمایا کہ آج سے چند سال پہلے جنت البقیع کی مظلومیت کے بارے میں بہت کم لوگ واقف تھے لیکن الحمدللہ جب سے البقیع آرگنائزیشن نے مولانا محبوب مہدی عابدی کی سرپرستی میں عالمی پیمانے پر اور ہندوستان میں مولانا اسلم رضوی اور مولانا علی عباس وفا کی کوششوں نے اس تحریک کو گھر گھر پہنچا دیا ہے۔
دہلی سے ایک مشہور و معروف شخصیت امام حسین کے شیدائی جناب پنڈت وجے کمار شرما جو کسی بھی تعارف کے محتاج نہیں ہیں انہوں نے بہت ہی جاذب و دلکش تقریر کی اور فرمایا کہ میں ایک ہندو ہو کر آج یہ اعلان کر رہا ہوں کہ جنت البقیع میں جو روزہ منہدم کیا گیا تھا اسے دوبارہ تعمیر کرنا چاہیے یہ کتنے افسوس کی بات ہے کہ مولا علی کی زوجہ کی قبر منہدم ہو اور سعودی حکومت اسے تعمیر نہ کرے ۔ ان کے پاس اربوں کھربوں میں اسلحہ خریدنے کے لیے پیسہ ہے لیکن رسول کے گھر والوں کی قبر جو منہدم ہے اسے بنانے کے لیے کوئی پیسہ نہیں ہے یہ تحریک جو جنت البقیع کے لیے ہر طرف سے اٹھی ہے ہم دل سے اس کی حمایت کرتے ہیں اور آخر تک ہم اس تحریک سے اپنی وابستگی کا اعلان کرتے ہیں۔
البقیع آرگنائزیشن کے ایک اہم رکن مولانا اسلم رضوی نے شہر پونہ سے اپنی تقریر میں یہ اعلان کیا کہ جنت البقیع کا مسئلہ اب کسی ایک ملک تک محدود نہیں ہے بلکہ جہاں جہاں بھی انصاف پسند لوگ ہیں وہ اس کی تعمیر کے لیے آواز بلند کر رہے ہیں جیسا کہ ہم جانتے ہیں کہ اب دنیا کا جو نظام ہے وہ تبدیل ہو رہا ہے اب حالات مومنین کے لیے بہتر ہو رہے ہیں اور ہمیں یقین ہے کہ مستقبل قریب میں وہ لوگ جو اہل بیت کی دشمنی میں آگے تھے اب انہیں شکست کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا اور انشاء اللہ ایک خوبصورت روضہ تعمیر ہوگا ۔

शीव (सायन) येथील लोकमान्य टिळक सर्वसाधारण रूग्णालयात क्षमतावाढ प्रकल्प राबविण्यात येत आहे. अतिरिक्त महानगरपालिका आयुक्त (शहर) श्रीमती प्राजक्ता वर्मा लवंगारे यांनी आज (दिनांक ८ ऑगस्ट २०२६) रूग्णालयास भेट देऊन क्षमतावाढ प्रकल्प कामांची प्रत्यक्ष पाहणी केली. रूग्णालयातील आपत्कालीन विभाग, विविध कक्ष, एमआयसीयू, सीसीटीव्ही नियंत्रण कक्ष आदी ठिकाणी त्यांनी भेट दिली.
एक्स रे, एमआरआय, बाह्य रुग्ण विभागांचा केस पेपर, वैद्यकीय सेवांचे शुल्क अशा विविध प्रकारच्या वैद्यकीय सेवांसाठी रूग्ण व रुग्णांचे नातेवाईक यांना रोख स्वरूपात पैसे अदा करावे लागतात. त्याठिकाणी डिजिटल पेमेंट करण्यासाठी पॉज मशीन उपलब्ध करून द्यावेत. तसेच डिजिटल पेमेंटसाठी स्वतंत्र खिडकी उपलब्ध करून देण्यात यावी. जेणेकरून रूग्णालयात लागणारी रांग कमी होण्यासाठी मदत होईल. डिजिटल पेमेंटमुळे नागरिक, रूग्ण तसेच रुग्णांचे नातेवाईक यांना सुलभ पर्याय उपलब्ध होणार असल्याचे श्रीमती वर्मा लवंगारे यांनी सांगितले.
उपायुक्त (सार्वजनिक आरोग्य) श्री. शरद उघडे, उपायुक्त (परिमंडळ -२) श्री. प्रशांत सपकाळे, संचालक (वैद्यकीय शिक्षण व प्रमुख रुग्णालये) डॉ. शैलेश मोहिते, सहायक आयुक्त (एफ उत्तर) श्री. अरूण क्षीरसागर यांच्या सह अधिकारी व कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते.
मुख्य रूग्णालय इमारत (टप्पा क्रमांक - २ अ), ऑन्कोलॉजी इमारत आदी ठिकाणी श्रीमती वर्मा लवंगारे यांनी कामांची पाहणी केली. तसेच प्रकल्पाच्या स्थितीचा आढावा घेतला. नव्याने विकसित होणाऱ्या रूग्णालयात
नागरिक तसेच रूग्णालयातील निवासी डॉक्टर व कर्मचारी यांच्यासाठी विरंगुळ्यासाठी ठिकाणे तयार करावीत, असे निर्देश श्रीमती वर्मा लवंगारे यांनी दिले.
रूग्णालयात नागरिकांच्या प्रवेशाच्या ठिकाणी तसेच रूग्णालय परिसरात नागरिकांना चालण्यासाठी अडथळामुक्त पदपथ उपलब्ध करून देण्याच्या सूचना त्यांनी रूग्णालय प्रशासनाला दिल्या. तसेच नियंत्रण कक्षाच्या ठिकाणी नियमितपणे कर्मचाऱ्यांची नेमणूक करण्याचे निर्देश त्यांनी दिले.
रूग्णालयात कार्यरत कर्मचारी वर्गावर सीसीटीव्ही नियंत्रण कक्षाच्या माध्यमातून लक्ष ठेवण्यात यावे. जेणेकरून वेळे आधी रूग्णालयातून बाहेर पडणाऱ्या कर्मचारी वर्गावर लक्ष ठेवता येईल. बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिका मुख्यालयात मानव संसाधन विभागाच्या वतीने कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेचा वापर करून कर्मचारी वर्गाच्या उपस्थिती बाबत निगराणी ठेवण्यात येत आहे. नियंत्रण कक्षातून पब्लिक एड्रेस सिस्टिमची अंमलबजावणी करण्याच्या दृष्टीने पावले उचलावीत, असेही निर्देश त्यांनी दिले.
रूग्णालयाच्या ठिकाणी नियमित स्वच्छतेसाठी प्राधान्य देतानाच कर्मचारी वर्गाला विशिष्ट युनिफॉर्म परिधान करण्यासाठी द्यावेत. तसेच रूग्णालयात मूषक व श्वान यांचा उपद्रव राहणार नाही, यादृष्टीने उपाययोजना कराव्यात. रूग्णालयात हॉस्पिटल मॕनेटजमेंट इन्फॉर्मेशन सिस्टिम यंत्रणेची अंमलबजावणी करावी, असे निर्देश अतिरिक्त महानगरपालिका आयुक्त (शहर) श्रीमती प्राजक्ता वर्मा लवंगारे यांनी दिले.

रिज़वी कॉलेज ने शांतिपूर्ण छात्र हस्ताक्षर अभियान के माध्यम से लोकतांत्रिक अभिव्यक्ति की मिसाल पेश की
मुंबई: देशभर में छात्र मुद्दों को लेकर बढ़ती भावनाओं के बीच रिज़वी कॉलेज ने एक अलग और जिम्मेदार पहल करते हुए छात्रों को कॉलेज परिसर के भीतर शांतिपूर्ण हस्ताक्षर अभियान और लिखित विरोध-पत्र के माध्यम से अपनी बात रखने का अवसर दिया।
कॉलेज ने छात्रों की आवाज़ दबाने के बजाय उन्हें संविधानसम्मत, सुरक्षित और सम्मानजनक मंच उपलब्ध कराया, जहां वे अपनी चिंताओं को व्यक्त कर सकें और साथ ही उनकी सुरक्षा, गरिमा तथा शैक्षणिक वातावरण भी सुरक्षित रहे।
संस्थान का मानना है कि लोकतंत्र और अनुशासन साथ-साथ चल सकते हैं तथा शिक्षण संस्थानों का दायित्व केवल ज्ञान देना ही नहीं, बल्कि छात्रों को नैतिकता और संवैधानिक जिम्मेदारी के साथ अपनी बात रखना भी सिखाना है।
रिज़वी एजुकेशनल कॉम्प्लेक्स की निदेशक एडवोकेट रुबीना अख्तर हसन रिज़वी ने कहा,
"मैं सम्मानजनक विरोध में विश्वास रखती हूं। गाली-गलौज, व्यक्तिगत आरोप या अपमानजनक भाषा न तो नैतिक है और न ही हमारे अल्पसंख्यक शिक्षण संस्थानों के मूल्यों के अनुरूप। सरकार की नीतियों से मतभेद हो सकते हैं और मुस्लिम समुदाय की भावनाएं भी कुछ मुद्दों पर आहत हो सकती हैं, लेकिन माननीय प्रधानमंत्री का व्यक्तिगत अपमान करना उचित नहीं है। असहमति भी गरिमा के साथ व्यक्त की जानी चाहिए।"
उन्होंने कहा,
"सड़क पर प्रदर्शन की इच्छा को शांतिपूर्ण दिशा देने के लिए मैंने छात्रों से संस्थान के भीतर ही विरोध-पत्र लिखवाया और उस पर हस्ताक्षर करवाए। एक वकील होने के नाते मेरी पहली जिम्मेदारी अपने संस्थान, शिक्षकों और छात्रों की सुरक्षा करना है। नेतृत्व का अर्थ अपने लोगों की रक्षा करते हुए उनकी आवाज़ को उचित मंच देना है।"
उन्होंने आगे कहा,
"हमने विरोध को रोका नहीं, बल्कि उसका तरीका बदला। हर छात्र को अपनी बात रखने का अधिकार है, लेकिन संस्थान की जिम्मेदारी है कि वह उन्हें यह भी सिखाए कि इस अधिकार का उपयोग सम्मान, अनुशासन और गरिमा के साथ कैसे किया जाए।"
एडवोकेट रुबीना रिज़वी ने कहा कि उनके संस्थानों में नैतिकता और संस्कार सर्वोपरि हैं।
"यदि कुछ छात्र कहीं और भी विरोध में शामिल हुए होंगे तो मुझे विश्वास है कि उन्होंने भी शांतिपूर्ण और मर्यादित तरीके से अपनी बात रखी होगी। हम अपने छात्रों को किसी का अपमान करना या आक्रामक होना नहीं सिखाते, बल्कि जिम्मेदार, सम्मानजनक और साहसी नागरिक बनना सिखाते हैं।"
उन्होंने इस पहल को सफल बनाने में सहयोग देने वाले सभी प्राचार्यों, उप-प्राचार्यों, शिक्षकों, गैर-शिक्षकीय कर्मचारियों और रिज़वी परिवार के सभी सदस्यों का आभार व्यक्त किया।
उन्होंने कहा,
"मैं हमारे सभी प्राचार्यों, उप-प्राचार्यों, शिक्षकों, गैर-शिक्षकीय कर्मचारियों और रिज़वी परिवार के प्रत्येक सदस्य का हृदय से धन्यवाद करती हूं। आपके सहयोग से छात्रों को शांतिपूर्ण, नैतिक और लोकतांत्रिक वातावरण में अपनी बात रखने का अवसर मिला।"
उन्होंने छात्रों की भी सराहना करते हुए कहा,
"मुझे अपने छात्रों पर गर्व है कि उन्होंने यह साबित किया कि मजबूत विचार बिना नफरत के भी व्यक्त किए जा सकते हैं, असहमति बिना असम्मान के भी हो सकती है और लोकतंत्र अनुशासन एवं गरिमा से और मजबूत बनता है। उन्होंने दिखाया कि उकसावे से अधिक ताकत कलम में होती है।"
रिज़वी कॉलेज प्रबंधन ने कहा कि शिक्षण संस्थानों की भूमिका जिम्मेदार नागरिक तैयार करने की है। यह पहल संवैधानिक मूल्यों, नैतिक नेतृत्व और शांतिपूर्ण लोकतांत्रिक भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देने के साथ-साथ छात्रों के हितों की रक्षा करने की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है।

Akhtar Hasan Rizvi Alleges Complaint Was Filed After Refusal to Pay ₹2 Crore Extortion Demand
Mumbai:Former Rajya Sabha MP and businessman Akhtar Hasan Rizvi on Monday alleged that the property fraud complaint lodged against him was motivated by an alleged extortion attempt of ₹2 crore.
In a statement issued after a Mumbai court rejected his anticipatory bail plea, Rizvi claimed that certain “interested parties” had deliberately filed the complaint after he refused to meet their alleged monetary demand.
Statement:
“The complaint has been deliberately filed by interested parties after my refusal to pay an extortion demand of ₹2 crore. I strongly deny all allegations made against me and maintain that they are false, baseless, and motivated.
I have complete faith in the Indian judicial system and am confident that the truth will emerge through due process of law. We will exercise all legal remedies available to us and will shortly approach the Hon’ble Bombay High Court seeking bail. If necessary, we are prepared to approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India as well.
I remain fully cooperative with the investigation and have unwavering faith in the fairness, independence, and integrity of the Indian judiciary. I am confident that justice will prevail.”
A Mumbai sessions court earlier in the day refused anticipatory bail to Rizvi in an alleged property fraud and forgery case, observing that custodial interrogation was necessary.
According to the police, Rizvi has been booked under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) related to cheating and forgery in connection with an alleged property fraud involving fabricated documents and impersonation of a deceased property owner.
The defence has denied the allegations and maintained that the 84-year-old former MP has no criminal antecedents and is being falsely implicated.
The matter is expected to be taken up before the Bombay High Court in the coming days.
