Which one is your favorite? And also Hello December mood! 🎄🎊 even though we are definitely “a few days” in December already 😅 I hope that you will enjoy some of the festivities this month 🧡

I also went little overboard with the amount of ideas this month haha …there are just some many festive activities that you can do during this season 😁 I will also probably get a new festive mugs this season.

🎨 I used mixed media brushes- my watercolor, watercolor splatters painterly, pastel, and sketching set. Plus the aquarelle paper template

Yay or nay for this color palette? I am slowly moving from the fall to the winter colors 😊❄️

I love seeing snowy landscapes but I usually prefer sunny warm weather 😅 So I will focus on painting cold scenes from the comfort of indoors 😁

🎬 I recorded the painting process and I plan to later share it in the art club ☺️

It was also nice to explore some of the drawings prompts from current art challenges like “woodland “snow in the forest”, “sugar plum pink”

What place do you think would look fun illustrated like this? I’d love to hear your ideas.🌷

I wanted to fill a spread in my sketchbook, didn’t know what to draw, so I scrolled through references and found a photo from the Faroe Islands in Denmark. The cliffs and meadows looked incredible, so I decided to paint those scenes.

Now it’s on my travel bucket list too. I knew about the Faroe Islands, but I didn’t know the names of some of the smaller islands or what you can see there. It sounds like a beautiful place to explore.

🎨 On the iPad, you can see the other archipelago I illustrated recently from Sweden. I mixed different techniques there as well, even though it’s all digital brushes. 😊

🎬 I also recorded the painting process for this spread, and it’ll be in my art club soon ❤️

Do you like drawing faces with flat shapes or do you prefer adding shading?

🎬 I just realized I never shared the art from the last class here. It’s all about learning how to shade the face using simple, easy-to-read shapes.

Left or right? Which one do you prefer? It’s Jacaranda season ( in Australia) 😊 They are blooming in spring in Europe too. I am in a spring art mood today because it’s very cold outside 😅

I started this spread during a live drawing session where others shared their beautiful photo references. The river is a national park in US and Jacaranda photo is from Australia. Thank you Katie for organizing the drawing session!

This spread also fits nicely for #huevember2025 challenge using purple hues a lot here.
