I see the reclaiming of Evolutionary Theory as even more important than a refutation of modern Dispensationalist Eschatology.
Modern Evangelicalism is spiritually dysgenic. A maladaptive, rigid and "fundamentalist" product of the prosperity brought forth by the Protestant Reformation which unfortunately led to accommodation.
They are the true heirs of the pietist / restorationist movements & its consequences, the hyper-individualist Anabaptist separatism, the apocalypticism of Dispensationalism and the ever increasing anxiety created by Arminianism.
It is an eternally introspective trap that Nietchze rightly criticized.
