We typically film at stations and grade crossings along the CSX RF&P Subdivision and NS Christiansburg District, however, we will be exploring new locations in the future! Veteran's Day
Our sincere thanks go out to all the brave men and women who currently, or have in the past, fought for the freedom we get to enjoy in this country. In times of both war and peace, the patriotism, sacrifice, and bravery shown by these individuals is unmatched and cannot go without honoring. While this is just one dedicated day out of the year to show appreciation, make sure you regularly remind the veterans you know how much their service means to you and this country. Have a great day!

The New River Valley rarely disappoints and last weekend was no exception! Setting the scene for these heavy Norfolk Southern trains was some nice late-stage fall foliage! It wasn't the best this year as it's been a bit of a dry autumn season, but you'll hear no complaints from me!
1 - NS 277 climbing the 12-mile long Elliston grade through the curves of Shawsville, VA.
2 - NS 126 sneaking under the vintage N&W coaling tower that still stands tall by the Vicker repeaters in Montgomery County.
3 - A small NS 18M pulls off the Whitethorne District and towards the North Yard in Roanoke, VA.
4 - Two NS heritage units can be seen in Roanoke's North Yard as 8103 (N&W) just came in on 126 and 1074 (Lackawanna) awaits its next assignment nearby.
5 - NS 19M weaves around the S-curve at Shawsville, VA as it battles the tough grade up to Christiansburg.
6 - NS 798 makes a run on the Whitethorne District past some nice foliage with an SD70ACe leading.
7 - The Lackawanna heritage unit, after an interesting spin move, leads NS 134 out of Roanoke heading east towards the Amtrak station.
8 - NS V39 does some switching in Radford, VA with some nice purple and red flowers adding to the scenery.
9 - BNSF 8216 runs as lite power under the 61V symbol after leading the empty phosphate train into Roanoke's South Yard.
10 - NS 279 races out of Roanoke heading towards its next checkpoint in Bristol, VA with an SD70ACC on the point.
