HANGAWI (SYLVIA M)

From 16 monthly listeners to 106.
In just 3 days.

I know it's not a huge number,
but to me, it meant everything.

To every playlist curator who added
"TEARDROPS" or "SPARE" this week —
thank you. Genuinely.

I've been in a bit of a slump lately,
and this small wave of support
helped pull me out of it.

So if you're one of those curators,
or one of the new listeners who found me —
thank you for giving my music a chance.

It means more than you know 🖤

HANGAWI – TEARDROPS 💧

My 4th single, "TEARDROPS,"
is officially out now (Sep 11).
It’s a slow, melancholic indie pop track
about the quiet ache of a sudden breakup and the memories tied to every tear left behind.
Best experienced late at night with headphones on. Thank you so much for listening and supporting my journey ✨

🎧 Available now on all streaming platforms & YouTube.

🎰 SPARE — Official Music Video is OUT NOW.
I finally finished the music video for SPARE.
It’s about waiting to be chosen by someone, only to realize you were never even their second choice.
I turned that feeling into a casino — where love becomes a game, people become choices, and eventually, you decide to walk away.
Was I easy to replace?

🎧 Listen on Spotify:

Made independently with no label or team.
Hope you enjoy SPARE. ♠️

HANGAWI (SYLVIA M)

My name is HANGAWI.
"Han" is Korea's Han (韓).

Some might call it coincidence.
I don't want to believe it is.

If my roots were already written into my name,
what am I supposed to write?

Who am I?

And... who are you?
