Victory Garden Alliance

The Victory Garden Alliance is a national campaign dedicated to reviving the historic Victory Gardens movement, uniting communities across the United States to cultivate their own nutritious food. Inspired by the original Victory Gardens of World Wars I and II, which at their peak in 1944 saw 20 million gardens producing 40% of the nation's vegetables, we aim to harness that same spirit of resilience and self-sufficiency to address contemporary challenges.

Our mission is to empower individuals and communities to grow their own food, promote sustainability, and build strong, connected communities through the transformative power of gardening. By providing education, resources, and support, we encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to engage in sustainable food production, fostering ecosystems that support resilience, biodiversity, and environmental stewardship.

Join us in this national endeavor to cultivate a healthier future.
