Praise the Lord!!!

Abide has been one of the greatest blessings in our lives—and yet in the beginning we went through some of hardest days of our lives. From healing complications and postpartum for my wife, months of sleeping on the sofa and Lazy Boy in our one-bedroom apartment, to adjusting to life as first-time parents on minimal to no sleep. These days tested us as people, spouses, and parents like never before.

But praise the Lord for so patiently teaching and transforming both my wife and me through it all to become better spouses to one another, parents for Abide, and followers of Him.

We weren’t sure if God would bless us with another child, so we’re that much more grateful that He’s entrusted us with another child! ✨

I’m especially excited to see how Abide steps up as a big brother. He’s so kind, smart, thoughtful, and even protective—I know being a big brother will draw it out of him even more. 🥹

I wanted to share this with anyone reading: God will give you opportunities today to prepare you for what He has prepared for you one day.
And even if you’re not ready, He can make what is impossible for us, possible through Him.

Recently ‪@Dylan_Anderson‬ posted a snippet of my old tik toks of jasmin and I when she worked a second job to pay for our wedding…. and it popped off!! 🚀

As I was reading through the comments I saw a lot of negative comments on how I was making her work. I wasn’t offended at all as I can see where they are coming from and because I know the internet (God protect me in these streets 🥷😂)

However, it made me realize that not many actually know the whole story of why she was working. So, I just posted the whole video and in the description I share a little more about the back story of why she was working…. i think it’s actually pretty amazing.✨
