Hey guys! Wanted to give a quick update. Yesterday I won Scrub Night, which is a OTS style tournament held here with a custom banlist that encourages people to play off-meta decks, while also doubling as a donation drive for an animal shelter. Went X-1 in Swiss.
Matchups:
Round 1: 🎲❌ 2-0 vs Swordsoul Tenyi
Round 2: 🎲✅ 2-0 vs Battlewasp
Round 3: 🎲❌ 2-0 vs Swordsoul Tenyi
Round 4: 🎲❌ 2-1 vs Spright
Round 5: 🎲✅ 0-2 vs Prank-Kids
Top 8: 🎲❌ 2-1 vs Swordsoul Tenyi
Top 4: 🎲✅ 2-1 vs Swordsoul Tenyi
Finals: 🎲❌ 2-0 vs Spright
Despite not being able to play cards like Plasma or Dark Law, the deck performed exceptionally well. I opted to use the Evil HERO package for more disruption turn 1 and OTK better OTK potential turn 2. Probably bricked like twice during the entire tournament, which isn't that bad. Overall, it was great and I had a lot of fun! You can find the deck list and ban list below.
