Y’all… at 30 years old, I wore heels for the first time! 🫣 And listen, I ain’t never doing that again! (Okay, maybe… but not often!)

Last night, I had the honor of speaking at an event called Generational Flowers! My husband spoke first, reminding everyone that Black fathers are our daughters’ first true love and that Black love and Black excellence are still alive and thriving. Then, I shared my own message—that being a wife and mom doesn’t mean you stop popping it and handling business, even if the kids gotta come too! I also spoke about the importance of pouring into our daughters, reminding them how beautiful and valuable they are—so when they hear it from someone else, they won’t just ‘drop it’ for anything.

This was my first time ever speaking, and I was super nervous—but I did it!!
