Het Urker Mannenkoor "Hallelujah" is een bloeiende zangvereniging met een duidelijk karakter. Sinds 1897 mogen we met ca. 100 mannen, onder wie vele jongeren, zingend de boodschap uitdragen van Gods genade voor zondige mensen. Het koor treedt ca. vijftien keer per jaar op. De zangers dragen dan de mooie klederdracht van het eiland Urk.
Het repertoire bestaat uit psalmen, christelijke liederen in diverse talen en klassieke koorwerken.

The Urker Men’s Choir “Hallelujah” is a thriving choral association with a distinct character. Since 1897 we have the privilege of proclaiming the message of God’s grace for sinful people through song, with app. 100 men, including many young singers. The choir performs ca. fifteen times a year, with the singers dressed in the beautiful traditional attire of the island of Urk.
The repertoire includes psalms, Christian hymns in various languages, and classical choral works.
