However, amidst our celebrations, my heart is heavy. Please join me in taking a moment to pray for the two National Guard soldiers who were recently victimized by senseless violence. Let us lift up their grieving families and fellow soldiers during this incredibly difficult time.
While we enjoy our freedom and safety today, let’s not forget those who stepped up to protect it and paid the ultimate price.
