10 years of Shen Yue. 10 years of dreams, courage, growth, and beautiful memories. ❤️🌙

Dear Shen Yue,

Today, as Mooncakes around the world come together to celebrate your 10th debut anniversary, I can’t help but think about how much can happen in ten years.

Ten years ago, you were a young woman taking your first steps into an industry where nothing was guaranteed. You couldn’t have known how far your journey would take you, how many people would come to love you, or how much happiness your presence would bring into their lives.

And look at you today. ❤️

We’ve watched you grow, take on new challenges, explore different characters, and gradually become the woman and actress you are today.

But beyond the dramas, the beautiful photographs, the endorsements, and the achievements, there’s something else that makes this anniversary meaningful.

It’s the connection you’ve built with people you’ve never even met.

Somewhere in the world, someone discovered you through a drama and found a reason to smile. Someone found comfort in your laughter. Someone became curious about Chinese entertainment because of you. And somewhere, people who speak completely different languages became friends simply because they share the same love for you.

I think that’s a beautiful thing.

And as someone who created AsianStarSpotlight to help international viewers feel closer to your journey and understand the world around you, I’m grateful to be part of this celebration.

To all the Mooncakes who have supported Shen Yue throughout these years, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or only discovered her recently, thank you for making this community such a lovely place.

And to Shen Yue, I hope the next ten years bring you opportunities that excite you, roles that challenge you, people who genuinely care for you, and plenty of moments where you can simply be happy.

May you always have the freedom to grow at your own pace, make your own choices, and enjoy the life you’re building.

You have already given so many people beautiful memories. I hope life gives you just as many in return. ❤️

Happy 10th anniversary, Shen Yue! 🎉🌙

With love from AsianStarSpotlight and Mooncakes around the world.

Mooncakes, let’s make this celebration special! ❤️ What’s one thing about Shen Yue that has made you appreciate her over the years?

Nine years of Shen Yue and Mooncakes. 🥹🌙❤️

Today, October 4, marks nine years since Shen Yue’s official fan support club was established.

And when you really think about what nine years represents, it’s quite beautiful.

This goes all the way back to 2017, around the beginning of the journey that many of us would eventually come to know. Since then, Shen Yue’s career has taken her through dramas, variety shows, brand campaigns, different stages and now even her first Milan Fashion Week.

So much has changed.

But Mooncakes are still here.

And I especially love that Shen Yue herself remembered the anniversary and sent a greeting to fans. ❤️

Some Mooncakes have been beside her for years. Others discovered her through Meteor Garden, another drama, a variety show, or perhaps only recently. International fans have joined from so many different countries along the way too.

We may not all have arrived at the same time, but somehow we ended up here together.

Happy 9th anniversary to Shen Yue’s official fan support club and to Mooncakes who have supported her throughout this journey. 🌙❤️

Now I’m curious…

When did YOU become a Mooncake, and what first made you notice Shen Yue?

Shen Yue finally took us along on her Milan trip! 🇮🇹📸❤️

After seeing all those polished pictures from Milan Fashion Week, I loved getting something that felt much more like Shen Yue experiencing Italy through her own eyes.

Her Milan vlog takes us from the beautiful scenery around Lake Como to the excitement of Fashion Week, the architecture she noticed along the way, and eventually Verona.

And somehow, in the middle of all that beauty, Shen Yue was still being Shen Yue. 😂

At one point she started wondering whether standing inside a display would make someone look more sophisticated — and then wished she could simply grow another 20cm and become 1.8 metres tall. 😭😂

I also love that she continues to document these experiences with her camera. We usually see the finished celebrity photographs from trips like this, but it’s nice seeing some of the things she found interesting enough to stop and look at.

It feels like we got to see a little more of the trip beyond Fashion Week. ❤️

StarMooncakes who have watched the vlog, what was your favourite part? 🌙

Happy new month, Mooncakes! ❤️🌙

It’s officially October, and before we start talking about everything Shen Yue has coming up, I wanted to wish you a beautiful new month too.

Sometimes we get so caught up discussing dramas, appearances, photos, performances and everything happening around Shen Yue that I don’t want to forget the people who make this community what it is — all of you who watch, comment, share your thoughts and keep coming back. ❤️

Wherever in the world you’re watching from, I hope October brings you peace, progress, good news and plenty of reasons to smile.

And for Shen Yue, I’m wishing her a beautiful month filled with good health, fulfilling work, exciting opportunities and happiness as she continues this next chapter of her journey. 🌙

There’s already so much for us to look forward to, and I can’t wait to experience it all with you.

Shen Yue at the 33rd Golden Eagle Awards tonight. ✨🏆

She looks absolutely stunning. There’s something so elegant about this entire look — the dress, the styling, the hair… everything came together beautifully. ❤️

And I especially love the classic, slightly retro feeling of it. She looks graceful without the styling feeling overdone.

Such a beautiful look for such a special evening. 🌙✨

Mooncakes, what was the first thing you noticed about Shen Yue’s look tonight?

🇮🇹 Shen Yue in Italy… and somehow even buying bread looks this pretty 🥖🤍

Okay, can we talk about this Shen Yue look for a second? 😌🙂

The simple white outfit.
The braided hair.
The tiny gold details.
And an armful of fresh bread in the middle of Italy. 🥖✨

There’s nothing loud about this look, and maybe that’s exactly what makes it so beautiful.

She looks like she walked into a little Italian bakery, bought more bread than she planned to, stepped back outside into the sunshine… and accidentally created one of the prettiest sets of photos from this trip. ☺️🤍

And I especially love the second picture because she looks SO happy with that bag of bread. Forget fashion week for a second — Shen Yue has found the important things in Italy. 😅🥖

Milan has given us glamorous Shen Yue, elegant Shen Yue, fashion-show Shen Yue…

But Shen Yue casually walking around Italy with fresh bread in her arms?

I’m keeping this one. 🤍🇮🇹

And hopefully Shen Yue travels to more countries because put her anywhere and she immediately blends in.

She stole the show and she definitely is stealing the hearts of Mooncakes Worldwide 😉😋

Which photo do you prefer — 1 or 2? 👀
