Alright, I’ve changed my mind about quitting- but I won’t be posting frequently. The only thing I will be posting about now is insects, as I can’t just quit right as summer comes- I’ve been waiting forever to start posting about bugs again.

I might quit YouTube for good, here is why:

1. Dead channel: I just started a livestream on ants eating a seed. Not a single viewer, 10 minutes straight. I had actually worked hard on that stream; I really focused the camera and got a good angle of the ants. I also barely get any views on my videos anymore, by a GREAT amount.

2. No one likes my entomology videos: entomology had always been my dream, even since I was a child. No matter how hard I try, my insect videos never get views anymore, only if I include jokes or brainrot.

3. YouTube’s trash community: Emoji cats. Homophobic anti-furry children. You know what I mean… stupid kids. I cant scroll without seeing ONE emoji cat. These underaged children are EVERYWHERE in my comments and for you page.

4. Tiktok is “better”: The community of TikTok is way more mature than YouTube’s. I haven’t seen any uneducated children so far. The way the app is used I also prefer, especially the live streams. They can be very interactive.

I guess entomology just isn’t working for me. I’m not posting entomology anymore, not even on TikTok.
