I’ll say this, if anyone can choose to say throw away data based on their interpretation of what is acceptable or not, it’s no longer a fact but rather a perspective and opinion. In today’s world of social media, organic traffic, and how basically nothing is linear online it is very difficult to remain relevant or worse remembered. That’s where being creative comes into play and well SPINNING happens. For those of us who have been lucky enough to shoot on a wide de range of cameras beyond YouTube content we all know what the real world differences are and that’s what guides our real world choices. The absolute nature in which content is presented is really my only issue with it all. Likely for most who have real world working experience if dynamic range was the single thing that would make or break your project what camera would you choose? For me most versatility RED, low light not an issue and mostly daylight ARRI, beyond that Canon, Blackmagic, and Sony are good options. If reach and 4K versatility is key then we can consider LUMIX. The current sleeping giant who may choose to Godzilla everyone NIKON is waking up energized by RED so the checkers game is quickly turning into 3D Chess…fact is we all win. 👊🏽
