🙏 Pray for Assam ❤️North-East India

As floods continue to affect upper parts of Assam, let us keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers. May those who have lost their homes find strength, safety, and hope. May the rescue teams, volunteers, and everyone working tirelessly be protected and blessed.

Let us also remember to help in whatever way we can—through kindness, support, or donations where possible.

May the waters recede soon, and may peace and normalcy return to every family in Assam. 💙

[According to the latest reports available today (27-07-26), at least 68 people have died in the ongoing Assam floods. More than 5.2 lakh (520,000) people remain affected across several districts, with hundreds of villages still inundated despite water levels beginning to recede in some areas. Relief and rescue operations are continuing.

The situation is still evolving, so the official death toll may change as authorities continue rescue and assessment efforts. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this disaster.]

Yes — “deber” and “deber de” have different uses in Spanish 👍
This is a classic and important distinction.

  1. Deber + infinitive → obligation / duty

This means must / have to / should (strong obligation).

Examples:

Debo estudiar. → I must study.

  2. Deber de + infinitive → probability / assumption

This means must be / is probably (logical guess).

Examples:

Debe de estar en casa. → He must be at home.
