Spring dresses for little fashionistas!

The first rays of sunshine are warming our faces, but sometimes spring is still a long time coming. This cute little dress for children is perfect for this time of year and can be sewn in no time at all using a baby lock machine.

We sewed this dress with the Enlighten overlock machine and the Euphoria coverstitch machine, using different feet to achieve great effects. With a combined machine, like our Gloria, Ovation and Desire3, you only need one sewing machine for this beautiful project.

• The Blind Hem foot and the 2-thread flatlock stitch were used to create decorative seams with metallic puffed thread

• The Gathering foot was used for the skirt section to give it more volume

• A special highlight is the heart on the front, which was sewn with a chain stitch and using variegated thread in the chain looper

• The rolled hem was used for the hem of the dress, which creates a wonderfully light finish.

Of course, you can also use other colours, fabrics, yarns or motifs for your projects to adapt the dress to your little one's taste. This way, they can enjoy the first hours of sunshine to the full and look adorable at the same time.
